  1. Stabil in fuel?

You guys are on the right track. Octane is relavent to compression ratio and timing. Higher compression engines need higher octane fuel to prevent detonation. The same can be said if the tune is pushing the limits on timing. I can tell you first hand from many hours on a dyno that buying expensive premium pump gas to burn in an 87 octane engine is a waste of money. Now if you were buying a race gas that had additives that promoted combustion, that would be different. The sta-bil on every fill is cheap insurance that if you get water in your fuel, it stays dispersed enough to not cause problems. For the record, stabil accualy counteracts the effectiveness of your fuel/water separator. If your boat has a fuel/water separator, it’s best to use additives only at storage. If you don’t have one, every fill up is best.
  2. Is anyone out there having there kids surfing the Chaos Nano? Looking for feedback before I buy my 10 & 13 year old girls a new board.........
  3. I can’t speak to the s21 or 211 but my 226 needs 8’2” with the tower down.....I have 8’ doors on my garage and I have to take off my board racks with the tower down to get in☹️
  4. Super nice! I might steal the walk way idea?. Great job!
  5. CenturionCrew Spare tire cover?

    That’s funny stuff right there!
  6. Yes, they are ITC lights......I ordered them from ITC through my business.
  7. If it is only happening at higher rpms, it makes me wonder if you have a potential downstream obstruction causing back pressure, but that would be a odd problem......If your rust problem isn’t out of control, I would clean it up and install a new gasket.....that would be cheap stab at the problem......
  8. Is the Ph level of your home lake water all screwed up? I’ve heard of that causing problems with your exterior metals........
  9. Shaka, have you looked at a joystick control from an industrial standup forklift? They are semi element proof. That and four relays connected to the accuators would get the job done.
  10. Infinity, did Ryan say if he had his new controlers yet......I bought on the Black Friday sale and still haven’t gotten my system yet☹️
  11. Heat shouldn’t be an issue because your engine compartment should be vented....I left the corners of my tray open so it could drain. build it!?
  12. I don’t have a tig but I do have an aluminum spool gun that I did try to do a little stitch beading☹️ I’m not good enough to weld that thin of material. Lol
  13. I did run into 2 issues that I feel really bad that I overlooked in my 10 minuets of planning. First, I broke the cardinal sin of fabrication, I didn’t measure the distance between my engine dividers in the front and back......these braces are not parallel.....there is a 1/2 inch of taper?. I’m a little tight in the front....second, I forgot to cut in the strut reliefs.....no biggy, it was a 5 minute fix..... all in all, the project was cheap, looks fair, and I had fun doing it!
  14. Done.....My final conclusion is I should have used .032 or .036 aluminum but this worked ok. My total cost is about $40 in aluminum, $7 in automotive panel adhesive, $3 in rivits and washers. $50 total plus about 4 hours of labor!!! Not bad!
  15. I’m started on it. I’ll get it broke into shape tomorrow...... I’m using .026 material that I had laying around. Im shooting for a diamention of 38.750” x 24” x 6”. Also, I will roll 3 beads in the bottom for strength. I have a calculated max load of gear for this bin at 50 pounds. It should work well and will be very light weight to remove.
  16. I’ve used Solid edge/Hurco cnc, to do similar projects.....the sweet thing is that it’s easy to do and it blows all your buddies away with the cool factor when you tell them that you built it yourself! I appreciate your project! Very cool!
  17. FAE group buy?

I would be in on a group buy!
  18. S238 tow vehicles

    Very nice!
  19. Lol....this was seriously one of the easiest upgrades I have done.....that is, once you get past cutting and drilling holes in a perfectly good boat! ?
  20. Wavecontrol is just a stripped down version of the GSA system...GSA has Bluetooth connectivity and its own app so you can control it from your phone or tablet as well as the wired controls......I will make sure to do a good job documenting the install and results since there is very little info on this forum on the GSA system.
  21. Lol.....I’m an mechanical engineer that spent my first 17 working years as a toolmaker/machinists. It pains me to buy add-ons when I can build something better.....God bless our dealers on here, but it also hurts my ego having to take anything into them to fix unless it’s a warranty item......I guess you can say I’m a “hands on” kind of dude.....
  22. Well you better stay tuned, H......I have more cool mods coming......guys on here corrupt my head with good ideas, I ordered material to build surf racks Friday, I’m drawing up an “over engine” storage compartment and will start building soon, and finally will start the install of my GSA when it ever gets here.
  23. Thanks, Rhunt....I will absolutely share some night pics when we get her out.
