  1. I don't know which unit your's is vs which one is in my 08 Falcon, but the Sony head unit I have has a red/white audio input on the back of the unit. I was able to buy a 3.5 mm aux cable that splices into red/white connectors on the other end and plug it straight into the back of the receiver unit. Only cost $10 from BestBuy and the cable is 6' long so plenty of reach into the passenger's seats. That being said, if I didn't have some other higher priority projects, I'd replace my head unit with a this Kenwood receiver: http://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/marine/kmr-d365bt/ Only about $115 on eBay.
  2. For you guys with the enzo paddle wheel breaking on the trailer problem: have you looked into modifying the section of the bunk where the paddle wheel normally sits? Seems like if the bunk is a 2x4, you could shave down an inch in and around the area that paddle should normally sit and maybe you wouldn't break it anymore. If the overall strength of the bunk is a worry at that point, you could reinforce it with a second board underneath the first one. I'm 100% in agreement for the stargazer upgrade, but my OCD side would really be bothered by not having that speed gauge working. Just an idea so you might be able to keep the boat fully functional.
  3. need a perfect pass

I looked up the zero off kits, looks like they are a little more expensive than the Perfect Pass even. Either way, if anyone sees a good deal for one somewhere, I really would like to get it.
  4. need a perfect pass

I guess I don't know what a zero off is. Is it a better product than perfect pass? Cheaper? I'm definitely up for saving some dollars. Thanks for the reply.
  5. need a perfect pass

Do you have the link? or at a minimum what city was it in?
  6. Hello everyone, I haven't been on this website in about 4 years because I sold my old boat and was off the lake for that time. This past weekend, I purchased a beautiful '08 Centurion Falcon V Air Warrior and am incredibly proud of it. The only problem with it, and I failed to realize this until after the transaction, it did not have Perfect Pass. My hope is someone on here has an old one laying around from one of their upgrades. If so, I'd like to take it off your hands. Please hit me up so I can get this figured out before the season starts. Thanks! -Drew
  7. Guys, I just got my new assignment and am moving to Wichita, KS this fall. Is there anyone in that area that can give me some info on the lakes? Also, it looks like I will be TDY at Altus, OK for most of the summer, so if anyone has the inside scoop on that area, I'm all ears. And on another note: I sort of hit a rock with my prop yesterday. I know a lot of ya'll put new 911 props on your boats when you get them. If there are any extra props floating around that someone would be willing to part with ($$$), I would definitely appreciate it.
  8. Long term storage.

The thought of being so close to Possum Kingdom without a boat is, well, unthinkable. I definitely think it would be worth the extra effort to take it with you this summer. Especially if you will be up there on the 4th of July. I had a six week TDY in Montgomery, AL two falls ago and pulled mine from West Texas out there so we could board on the Alabama River. At first I thought I was crazy, but in the end, it was well worth the effort. Plus, it made the TDY go by a lot faster. Just food for thought.
  9. 2010 World - Texas Rangers vs. San Francisco Giants

I have seen too many losing Ranger's seasons for us not to cash in! GO RANGERS!
  10. when I bought my boat last year, I had a custom cover made by a local shop. It is real heavy duty, rain tight, and I can travel with it on, regardless of the distance. But I like the tent idea that T5Comp had in addition to the snap on you already have. that's what I would do.
  11. Another thought is you might be experiencing "vapor lock". Just a thought, cause it sounds like it only does it once the motor heats up.
  12. kicker face plates

I've got the same problem right now, for me, its not sun and heat that is causing it. Whenever I make a very slow, tight 180 to go get a boarder, the rope wraps on top of the speaker and then pulls the grill off whenever the rope pulls tight. If that makes sense? I am still searching for a replacement grill, and plan on using a little bit of gorilla glue when I do replace it. Hopefully that will make it a stronger connection.
  13. Lake Somerville, Tx

I'm going to be on Lake Travis/Austin today and Canyon lake tomorrow. If you head towards austin, look us up! (also, make the rain stop!)
  14. Need wakeboard advice

What you just described is my LiquidForce PS3. You can get tons of air, it is very sharp on the edges, and if you ever change your mind about those inverts, there is more than enough pop for some tantrums or back rolls. I bought it last summer and have yet to find anything I don't like about it.
  15. When I bought my boat, it did not come with a cover, so I had a custom cover made for it. They made mine out of a very heavy duty canvas, which is awesome because it can be tightened down just as tight as I can pull on the ropes. This does a couple of good things, one, the water DOES NOT pool at all because of how much tension is in the canvas, and two it allows me to trailer my boat with the cover on. I on one occasion, while going down a hill, hit somewhere between 75 and 80, just to see how the cover would handle, and it took it like a champ, no flapping or anything. My recommendation to anyone who is in the market for a cover is to go the custom route because a good cover is the best investment you can buy for your boat.
