  1. Use the link stoke provided above and search the site for your year/make/model. It takes you right to the items that are the correct fit for your boat. The PP has a separate wiring harness ($49). The guy Carey explained that you simply unplug existing wire harness from speedo plug in their system and the wiring harness is a piggy back you plug the OEM wires back into. Same application for the perfect pass. He said their wiring harness is like a pass through (all-plug-in-play). for instance my speedo has temp. gauge and volts in it (passes through gps wiring harness from old wire bundle) Same on PP allows water temp to go through.
  2. PS - so you don't think I'm a complete idiot and lazy my boat is on a lift in the lake so it is not real easy to get under it and look around. Got dangle off the lift under the boat like a gymnast to see it. Thats the other reason I figured just upgrade and be done with it.
  3. Stoked - - Thanks man I appreciate it. My dealer told me to look on starboard side next to the wake plate........you were right it is midship and port side. Any rate I talked to Cary and ordered the nauticlogic. Seems like it will be better than jacking with a pilot wheel all the time. I was just on the website and they talk about calibrating the speedo. Is that simply the turn knob on the dash to get GPS exactly dialed in to correct speed? Thanks again!
  4. Looked on site first but did not see exact question. Figured someone on her could point me in right direction. Just got this 2008 Centurion Typhoon this year. all gages have been working fine. Yesterday the speedo and perfect pass neither registered anything. Today the speedo was jumping all over the place (Violently no constant speed) but nothing on the perfect pass. Any ideas or suggestions? our lake is extremely weedy this year so i am guessing something is clogged up. I looked last night on this site and general internet and found that I should check the paddle wheel.....well no paddlewheel on the boat that i can find? Sorry for my stupidity but appreciate any assistance. Thanks
  5. Boat Shopping - $85K budget

If you can stand the Michigan "Big Blue" theme......the dealer I bought my boat from in Benton Harbor MI has this. It is like new and to me seems very well priced with low hours. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-CENTURION-ENZO-FX244-SURF-BOAT-ONLY-92-HOURS-/162467470427?hash=item25d3d0dc5b:g:wdAAAOSw2gxYr0lF&vxp=mtr
  6. Board Condition Advice Needed

yea they were great. They gave me free return shipping since it looked like it happened in shipping. Problem is it was a used board so it was the last one. Have to start looking for another one.
  7. I bought a used Tako from Evo sports in the pacific NW. It arrived via UPS last night. Extremely pleased with condition of board except for tip/nose. I am sure it happened in shipping. They should have packed it better. Any rate here are some pictures of the nose. Looking for advise: · will it hold up or should I send board back for refund? Does the tip take much abuse in the water. I would imagine it rides high and out of the water. · Can it be glued and clamped? (If yes, what type of glue?) Secondly it came with two outboard fins and no center fin. Will center fin help stabilize board for kids to learn on? If yes where can I purchase a center fin and which one do I want? Thanks
  8. Alright guys I appreciate the feedback. Blues man had told me to get red rocket or red woody already for me and something else for the kids. Again as the designated driver not sure how much time if at all I'll be out back so if their was a way for me to have a beginner board that would stretch the needs of all three and then become a good "beginner board" to keep for friends etc that would be ideal! Seems as if that would be an impossibility unless I put my fat butt on a diet. Nope......two boards are fine! Thinking I do red rocket for me and tako for kids/boat board.
  9. OK......I have searched the archives and reached out to Bluesman who gave me some good advice. I have never tried surfing before but am going to next year with my kids as we just bought this Centurion and switched over from an I/O. Me 6'1" 290lbs, son 5'5" and 135lbs (12yo), daughter 5'4' 120lbs (14yo). I know nothing more than what I have researched here. I am sure both kids will stick with it as they have done water sports all their lives and figured I would start with a basic board (liquid force - fish) for them. Seems to be a good value and as basic as basic can get to start them out on and keep long term for when they bring friend to the lake. My daughter is mild mannered and would most likely be happy sticking with that board. My son will most likely outgrow it within first year and then I can search for second board for him. I on the other hand may or may not stick with it (my wife hates to drive) so will not get much opportunity. So not sure what kind of investment I want to make for myself not knowing if ill get to go very often or at all. I ran across a Hyperlight Landlock locally on craigslist. Says good for 110lbs to 300lbs Could this be true? Is it a possible solution for all 3 of us and a longterm boat board for beginners? I look forward to your advice and thoughts.
  10. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

Yes it is the 23 foot Avy. Don't know much about the wake yet. I know the dealership I bought it at said I am 3rd owner. Fist owner turned it back in with like 50 hours, second owner surfed it and turned it back into the same dealership with 250 hours. Now i am picking it up in the spring.
  11. Yea, Lake Geneva is a big lake but way to busey on weekends. During the week it is not bad. Delavan is about 6 miles SW of Geneva. A little less known of a lake about 1/2 the size. Shaped like a kidney so if one end is rough from wind the other end is generally calm. From Kenosha you are 35-45 minutes to Geneva/Delavan. Delavan is a great fishing lake also so for water sports if you get up and go out at 6-6:30 on weekends you have the lake to yourself and fishing boats till around 9:30-10 AM then again after 5 it clears up till dusk. Pretty much every time you go out you will see someone surfing. Not any Centurions that I know of. A lot of Tige and MC on the lake. Let me know i you venture down next summer and we could meet up.
  12. I have a cottage on Lake Delavan in SE WI. Live in Chicago but go up weekends in the summer. Can't help out on the surfing.......Just bought my Centurion and gone be experimenting myself on ballast next spring.
  13. Two ideas. First skipper buds in Madison had a preowned a few months ago, not sure if it is still around. Secondly, if you try craigslist in Chicago someone has one listed around the chain of lakes which is not that far from Madison. Seems like a decent boat and price by the way so may be of interest to you.
  14. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

Well I bought it and had it winterized. Have not had it in the water other than the sea trial. New to me 08 Typhoon with mid 200 hours. Myself and kids are excited for spring and learning to surf, my son wants to advance his wake boarding with a tower as opposed to behind a bow rider. The wife is not much into water sports and was against selling our Monterey. So I guess 3 outa 4 isn't bad right?
  15. Tower Speaker Question

Im on sales side. Did time with PMS, SMS and a start up in women's healthcare. Hung my own shingle for a little over two years now in radiology consulting. Starting to think about going back to OEM, in three months I do not know if I will be able to afford family healthcare insurance anymore as an independent. (Which is a shame) It is expensive now and supposed to go up between 35 to 52% next year for family plans!
