  1. Good point. Worth a try. Will look into that!
  2. Guys, I am in sort of a complicated situation looking for help. I recently hit something in the water that damaged my prop. I was pretty pissed off about the situation and I am very picky so I just bought a new prop and tossed the damaged. Well, it happens that now that the season ended I was polishing the boat underneath and saw that cracks formed on the strut from the impact. Well I guess I missed them and they are VERY EXPENSIVE to fix. Need to go through insurance. Well I told them that I may have tossed the prop and that I will need to check and they said that they NEED to see a damaged prop or a repaired prop to cover anything. They don't care but they need to see something. I've been asking around and it seems that without the damaged prop they may just call it wear and tear and won't cover the fiberglass repair. This is stupid because looking through forums I have seen people with similar damage and the prop remaining intact somehow. So it is possible. On mine, the shaft is perfectly straight. Actually the prop wasn't bad. I should have kept it and repaired it... But i didn't want to see it. I have told the insurance that I do not want money for the prop. I just want them to pay for the rest of the damage, the fiberglass stuff. LONG STORY SHORT, DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ACME 537 (13.5X16) OR ACME 1235 (14.5X14.25) DAMAGED PROP SITTING AROUND LOOKING TO SOMEONE TO TAKE OUT OF YOUR HOUSE SINCE YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE IT EITHER????
  3. Thanks for the feedback. This is a tricky situation because my wife will surf more but I wakeboard more and I'm trying to get my small kids into wakeboarding as well so they need a wave that will have a good shape at low speeds. Personally I prefer to wakeboard more than surf but I am not a pro either. So I don't need a huge wake, just something decent at speeds of 20-22. I ride 21.5 and can do inverts, 3s and raleys at that speed no problem. More than that gets scary. I'm a but worried of the wakeboard wave for the Avy since I heard it can be tricky to get it dialed in as it can get washed easily on either side if weight is not distributed perfectly.
  4. Hi, I'm looking to buy a used Centurion Avalanche in the 2002-2008 age range. I have never ridden behind it but have heard good things about it. I am looking for some Centurion owners in the area, that may have this boat that would be nice enough to let me get a feel for the wake. Trying to find an older boat to try from a dealership is hard because there aren't much. I'm just looking at boats that will be a good drive to pick up.Anyone local willing to help would be great! At this point I am looking at Centurions Avalanches, MC 205V (X-star, X1.X2), supra 22V, Nautiques 211 and 210 and Malibu VLX (all 2000-2006 range). The funny part is that I have never been in any of them!! I'm just going of forums. All I have ridden is a 23ft and 19ft jetboat (Scarab, formerly Seedoo) and learned to do backrolls, raleys, tantrums, and 360's behind those. Now that I'm buying my first boat, I want to make an educated decision. Which I think means comparing and testing. Everyone says anything is better than one of those jet boats you have ridden, but it would be great see it for myself.Any help is appreciated! Also, if you know of owners of the other models indicated and wish to get me in contact with them that would be great! Thanks,I am near Madison, WIJavi
