Just built my house on 1.24 acres. Land was $32,500. Still have plenty of room for a 30x50 or 40x60!

Fi23 first impressions

Roughly a 10% discount? That doesn't seem like a deal to me. Just saw a new 2017 Ri237 for $99,900. -
Exactly! I couldn't agree more! Malibu used to be the sleekest looking boat on the water. Now, they are too boxy. The nod goes to Centurion easily, IMO. Now, if I can just get a demo on one this season so that I can solidify my order for this fall.

https://www.malibuboats.com/boat/wakesetter-23-lsv The current king of the 23ft market released their new boat today. Coming from a 2014 Malibu 23 LSV, I think this boat is ugly. IMO, the entire Centurion brand looks better than this boat. It'll be interesting to see what next year's Fi market share is.

Who's seen a Fi23 at their dealer? Have any arrived yet?
-
You guys are preaching to the choir here. My dealer is only in his 2nd year as a Centurion dealer. Has been a Cobalt dealer for a long time. I know he knows how to take care of customers, or he wouldn't be a Cobalt dealer.
-
Also the reason I'm looking at the Fi. Seems to be more 217s left on lots than any of the others. My dealer just sold their demo 2016 217. 23ft is the sweet spot for resale.

When will the Fi23 start to hit dealers for demo? I'd like to demo one before I order. Still not sure which direction to go. Fi23 or Ri217. First world problems.

What gear ratio for the H5 and H6?
-
That's what she said....

I've been in a 217 several times. Bow rise was never an issue. With just an okay wave, and bow rise I say it wasn't set up right. The 217 should have blown away any other boat with a surf system, with the exception of a select few.

@BoardCo, do you happen to know what the number of each Ri model sold to date? I would say that typically the 23ft size seems to be the most popular, but wondered if it was true for the Ri line as well. I would assume that 23ft is the most common, that's why we see the Fi23 first. This may sway my decision for resale purposes, if you confirm my thoughts.

I am thinking about these two models. Our crew is usually 4 adults and 2 kids. We loved the Ri wave. I'm guessing price will be fairly similar between the two. I think the 217 will be plenty big for us. Will the Fi wave be better? More storage in the Fi?

I hope the new vinyl colors will be available on the 2018 Ri as well.

Is there a way to watch it after the fact? I tried searching with no luck.
