07 T5: Depth Finder Beeping - showing 2.0 feet all the time

I am a boating virgin with a new-to-me 04 Ave with the same problem. My depth sounder alarmed when we were in 200 feet of water. Now I have been just turning it off each time I start the boat. Any fix ideas would be great! I will look at the wiring when I get home. As a side note if the module needs replaced should I go with the same pilot 1 system or change it out? How about cost?
