Old post bump - but wondering if anyone has the FAE on a '16 s238 and what the feedback is. Mine pushes out quite a bit of exhaust when surfing and my wife has been getting a mild headache after extended surf days - could be the exhaust or could just be the alcohol ...

I posted this a few weeks ago and somehow it disappeared. When I picked up my boat I didn't get a demo or a manual so just having to learn as I go. I have a '16 s238 and want to know how to fill and empty the Quickfill ballasts. I was told it is the OPEN/CLOSE switch on the dash - but when I hit them to open nothing seems to happen. Should I hear a pump kick on? Or do the PnP switches have to be on as well? I am not in gear - boat off but key in the ON position. I have also tried with the boat running but it's impossible to tell if a pump kicks on over the sound of the idling engine. Thanks again

Wondering what everyone does to clean the crap outta the floor gaps? I have a '16 S238 and the sh*t in there is awful! Bought a little handheld vac but the attachment cant get in there. I'll go and look for another vac but thought maybe you guys knew a better way? PIC

Yeah actually looks worse in life vs the picture. I will leave it out in the sun and see what happens. I've used it all summer and most days it had direct sunlight and nothing happened - but maybe it needs a good 3-4 days in a row.

Hey anyone else had a seat do this? Just took the cover off a few months ago and there it was. Tried every type of cleaner there is but NOTHING will remove it. Seems to be stained right in the seat. I have tried various products that worked quite well on my Moomba but the stains/marks/dirt seem to stick to the Supreme seats a little more. What do you all use to clean them right up?? Thanks!

Hey guys ... does the HT6 amp come pre tuned from the factory or is that something that is usually done by the dealer? We have the standard 4 x Icon 8s installed with the 6 x WS cabins and the HT6 amp. I am coming from my Moomba that had 4 x Exile SXT9Q's powered by the Exile 30.2 amp and 6 x cabins/sub powered by the Exile Javelin amp. The sound difference is quite substantial. My Exile setup was MUCH better. I have heard that the WS gear is just as good if not better than the Exile yet thats not the case for me. Unfortunately already one cabin has blown and we really are not turning it up that loud. Both of the outside tower speakers are not working as well. My audio tech experience is pretty minimal ... but do you guys usually have to tune this system to really get the best out of it? I am quite disappointed in the sound system so far.

So I got around to removing the bent screws from the bottom channel today and 4 of the 5 of them were so bent that the heads just broke off. The rest of the screw is still in the hole. Do you think it is fine to just move the channel down an inch or so and put new stronger screws in new holes? Will anything need to be done before or after doing so? Not sure what those screws are actually going into so just want to be sure. Thanks

Got into my amp today and fiddled around with the wires ... and sure enough the 2 outer towers turned back on Pretty happy about that. Gained the amp up a little as it was only at 25% for the towers (cabins were at 50%) The cabin speaker is definitely blown - had my audio guy confirm who is also a WS dealer/installer. Next step try to get it replaced under warranty as it blew after 2 days of use. Then onto getting into a new amp. Do you suggest the SYN4 or SYNDX4 to power the 4 x Icons? Wouldn't mind adding another pair of cabins (one right in the helm - the other across from it). Guessing that the HT6 could power all 8 cabins?

No the dealer upgraded the bags at the showroom. 650's I believe? They are not marked and cannot remember what he told me.

Definitely didn't adjust the amp. I noticed right from the get go that it didn't like too much volume so I turned off the LOUD on the deck. Already talking to my guy about the proper setup going forward ... pretty crazy they are running 10 speakers off that one amp. @wylie - gonna have him look it over and see what we come up with then go from there. I already contacted the dealer so just waiting for a response as well.

Ok thanks for the info. I figured that I would have to an another amp ... just surprised that they sound as poor as they do as is. As for the towers ... do you think they are blown? I would think they would just sound distorted if so? I know with absolute certainty the one cabin is ... but it would be quite painful to have to replace 2 x Icon 8s after a week with the boat. There was sound at one point in time coming from both.

Good to know I will try this out. I will have to grab some more lead ... just have 300lbs total now. I had 200 under the surf side bag and another 100 under the surf side seat. We upgraded the bags (I believe they are 650s now in the lockers?) and 175s under each side seat.

I just traded in my 14 Mojo for a 16 s238. I had 230 hours on the Mojo so I know it very well. So far only 20 hours on the s238 but you cannot even compare the two boats (aside from price). As stated above the fit and finish is FAR superior in the Supreme. The extra length is quite significant as well. The overall ride in the 238 is light years beyond the Mojo. If you happen to be on a lake that can get any kind of chop you will absolutely love the 238. The Supreme just cuts through it without any issues at all ... the Mojo sounded like it was going to break in half. I cannot speak for the reliability of the Supreme as I haven't owned it for long but there were countless issues with the Mojo right from the beginning (defective tower, defective head unit, trim plate issues that were never resolved etc). I spent 2 years trying to dial in that Mojo wave and spent thousands of dollars in the process, and the surf wave that I am pushing in the 238 is far better than anything the Mojo could do (and I am just getting started with the 238). One thing that I am missing is timers/gauges for the ballast bags. Having to constantly open up the lockers and check/watch them is not ideal. If you have any other questions about the two please feel free to ask because I could answer just about anything. Definitely take the 238 for a test drive and then report back! Good luck!

Hey guys ... so I pulled the trigger last week on a new s238 Overall super stoked on the boat and just learning the ins and outs of it. Last night when we had just started surfing the SERVICE REQUIRED alert started going off. The speedo went blank and the fuel gauge jumped to full. Once we brought the boat back down to a slow idle, the alert shut off. Tried it again and it came back on. The boat is on the lift now. Since today is a holiday I can't get it to the shop ... but wondering what you guys think? Any ideas what might be going on? Only 6 hours on it...

Finally got some free time yesterday to look into it and it was a stuck paddlewheel. Freed it up and all is good

OK good to know thanks. I will give that a shot and will probably change out the channel/screws just to be safe as mine are pretty warped now

@ssmith - exact same thing just happened to me tonight. The screws bent and I will have to pull them out and reattach. Hoping for a better solution. The actual plastic divider isn't bowing so I'm not sure if the WM kit will work. I had it for my Moomba and it was great ... but the issue here is the bottom channel.
