Trouble removing bow seat for re-upholstery
Gibber posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Please help. I have a 2013 Enzo SV244. It sounds crazy but I can't figure out how to remove the bow seat to have it re-upholstered. I've searched this forum and even spoken with technicians at Fineline. Their latest suggestion was to remove the side cushions but there doesn't appear to be any bolts or screws behind them. They assure me they are glued in. My upholsterer can't figure it out in multiple attempts either. Picture attached. Anyone know what we're missing? Thanks! -

My upholsterer finally got it out by removing the port side back rest panel, then by simultaneously banging on the bottom with a rubber mallet and pulling up from above. Hope this helps someone else. -

Sorry, that should say "they assured me that the seat is NOT glued in". Thanks. -
Ballast tank busting into engine compartment
Gibber posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Recurring issue here. On my 2013 Enzo SV244, there are removable boards that keep the port/starboard stern ballast tanks from getting into the engine. On the port side, my ballast tank keeps busting through the boards and ending up partly in the bilge. The boards themselves touch the lower part of the engine which caused a failure last year. Over the winter I tried adding brackets to help secure one part of the board to the other. Didn't work. Anyone have ideas on how to permanently solve this problem? Thanks! -

Now that would work! I'll have to find out if Centurion would sell some to me. -

Tried that a few times but I'm thinking they're moving around when I'm tubing the kids. Gotta give 'em a good ride! Thanks though. -

Very interesting ideas and info on the previous thread. I have all the hardware but am "jumping the track" with the divider. Thinking the cotter pin idea might work. Unless another idea looks better, I'll take a look at how I could install that option. Thanks y'all! -
Replace docking light bulb
Gibber posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I have a 2013 Centurion Enzo SV244. Love it. One of my docking light bulbs went out. Here's a picture. Can anyone tell me if the ring around the glass unscrews to gain entry? Looks like it should but I didn't want to put too much pressure on it if not. Thanks in advance!! -
2013 Enzo SV244 touch screen display help
Gibber posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Hi, In the middle of a tubing run this weekend, the touch screen display blacked out and has never come back. The boat still runs fine but of course I can't adjust the ballast, trim, set speed, etc... I reset all the toggle breakers/fuses under the dash. Turned off the Perko switch for the batteries. Nothing. I do see a slight change in color of the display when it tries to boot up after turning the key so it appears to be getting power. Ideas? Unhook batteries, firmware update, dead display or computer? Any help would be appreciated. -
2013 Enzo SV244 touch screen display help

Got it to an authorized Centurion boat shop. Confirmed I'll have to replace the screen. Of course it's back ordered. Trying to get them to give me the make, model, serial numbers off the screen itself so I can search for companies who may have one in stock. Any other ideas for figuring that out and finding one would be appreciated. Thx. -

I couldn't read the screen enough to navigate. Barely negligible, like a faint burn in. -
2013 Enzo SV244 touch screen display help

New info while working at night. That slight change of color in the day turned out to be the normal screen, just barely visible. The touch screen even works but you wouldn't be able to see it during the day even in shade. Both batteries are putting out 12.8 volts. I disconnected both positive terminals for 15 minutes to reset the computer anyway. Reconnected tightly and checked negatives. Rechecked all connections under the dash and reset breakers. Still the same behavior but I feel like it's progress. (-: -

Thank you for all the ideas! Shouldn't be batteries as they are new this year, kept hooked up to a charger and the issue initially occurred while the boat was running. I checked all the breakers and fuses I could find as well as any loose connections. I'll try the hard boot next. Not sure how to get a firmware update, let alone install one or whether you can do so without the display. Thanks!
