I was wondering if anyone has piggy backed their stock ballast system? I have a 2003 Centurion Elite V with a stock center ballast.. and I was hoping to add 750lb ballast bags on each side of the engine compartment, plumbing them into the stock plumbing and deleting the center stock tank...

I purchased a 2003 Lightning, with 475 hrs, with the storm 1 package I believe, a really nice Rockford Fosgate stereo system that bumps, dual batteries, perko switch, Bimini top, fat sacs in each rear locker, perfect pass, and the dealer threw in a free Ronix wakesurf shaper in May of this year in what I'd consider fair condition for $16,700. A few seams in the upholstery are pulling apart, and has a few small nics in the vinyl. But otherwise everything else works great! Soo.. I think that they are asking way to much for the boat! From my understanding is that the Cyclone is extremely similar boat compared to my Lighting! I could be wrong, I'm fairly new to Centurion boats, as this is my 1st! Good luck!.

Lol.. geez, thanks builtforspeed.. it's actually quite hilarious seeing how many people forget to take their transom straps off!. Holiday weekends are the best for boat ramp bloopers!. Oh.. and don't even get me started on the local lake lice!

Hello everyone! I just purchased a used 2003 Centurion Lightning and I have a few questions regarding this boat. I bought the boat from a dealership in Florida, and had it shipped to Wisconsin where I live. It didn't come with a owners manual, and I've found it impossible to find anything online. - Did they make Centurion Lightnings in 2003? The boat has a Lightning decal on each side of the boat by the ski lockers, and the title says it's a 2003, but doesn't say what model it is. From what I've found out searching online is that they didn't introduce the Lightning until 2004.. Just a little confused over this.. - How many drain plugs are on the boat to drain the hull? I obviously see the one above the wake plate, but didn't know if they have another one in the middle or towards the bow.. (my old Mastercraft Tristar had a T handle plug in the middle of the boat) - Where is the center ballast located? And how can I access it? How much does it hold? - I haven't had it out yet, due to work, and bad weather this week, but are there any tricks to help start the boat or anything I should be doing when starting the boat? (I'm only used to starting my old MC w/ the 351w that's carbureted) - Any suggestions on setting it up for surfing? The boat did come with fat sacs in each rear locker plumbed in. Also the dealership threw in a free Ronix wakesurf shaper.. - Any tips or tricks when unloading the boat from the trailer, or loading it back onto the trailer? Does anyone know where I can pick up some replacement quick release knobs for a 2003 Lightning. The ones that you unscrew to be able to fold the tower down.. Thanks!
