I have a 2016 S238 with the 450 HP H6DI engine and we live and boat at 5200 ft in Colorado. It is awesome. If anything, it has too much torque. I had to learn to NOT give it full throttle when pulling my 200 lb son up on a surf board or on a slalom ski.

2017 S238 Engine Options
Boulder Preston replied to Boulder Preston's topic in Supreme Boats General Discussion
Thanks for the info. I live and use my 2016 S238 at 5000 ft. I paid $9K extra to get the H6DI and I am really glad I did. The opportunity to get that engine was a big part of my decision to chose the Supreme. -
Anyone know if the H6DI is still an option on the 2017 S238? Thanks.

WakeMakers Supreme S238 Ugrade Bags
Boulder Preston posted a topic in Supreme Boats General Discussion
I absolutely love my 2016 Supreme S238 but have decided to add some more ballast. Because we still do lots of skiing and tubing, I don't want to get bags of lead pellets that are always in the boat. I am leaning toward the WakeMakers "Bag Busters" rear ballast upgrade kit. It replaces the two factory 550 pound bags with a total of 1730 pounds. Allegedly it connects to the factory pumps and tubing. I was wondering if anyone has experience - good or bad - about the WakeMakers bags. Thanks very much. -
Not Enough Push
Boulder Preston replied to Boulder Preston's topic in Supreme Boats General Discussion
Sorry for the delay. I have the 2 standard 550 lb bags in the back and the 3 quick fill hard tanks. Is the consensus that I need either more bags or lead? Thanks to all. -
Help. S238. All 3 pumped ballast tanks full. Port surf tab down. Not getting enough push. Thanks.

My dealer, Island Lake Marine, put me in touch with the factory for a tour and pics. -
Because I am at 5000 feet I ordered the H6DI for my new S238. I hope to take delivery this week. Hoping to be impressed with the engine. Anyone else running this engine?

To Phi - I have not yet taken delivery from Island Lake. Last week had a full cover made at Paul's Custom Canvas in Denver. I hope to get the boat this week. I have found Island Lake to be very responsive and helpful, even during the Spring rush. See you this Summer. -
The factory suggested this idea for my new S238. My dealer is has ordered two small sections of Gator Step that they will install under the rear corner seat cushions. Then when groups of people are boarding I can pull the cushion out of the way and they can step from the Gator Step on the gunwale to the Gator Step on the seat base and not have everyone board by stepping on the cushion!

Yes. My S238 will reside at parking spot 45 in the Coot lot. I plan to be out there a lot this Summer and would love to get together. -

Sorry, I am not very good at creating thumbnails. But I am very happy with the build quality and the cooperation of the folks at Centurion/Supreme.
