Dark - I took a look at your install pics and also the video of your wake. Both are pretty incredible. I have to confess that I am very far on the 'not-so-handy' side, so the thought of doing the full install and drilling holes in the hull is going to be way beyond me! I will be going the bag and tsunami pump route for now, plus some lead.
One question I did have is on the weight bearing capacity of the shelf/ledge of the rear lockers where the PNP bags would sit on. I'm guessing that since you and others have done this, there is no concern, but I wasn't sure if the ledges were specifically designed for that purpose or use. Is this what the factory PRO install would have been anyway? Is the ledge really the outer layer of the Ramfill tank, or is it a molded part of the hull, or something else? (Sorry for all the rookie questions. I have now had the boat in my possession for a total of less than 10 days and have only taken a quick peek at that cavity . . .)
Thanks for the estimate on the Ramfill size. I had tried to get that out of Centurion, but never got a good figure from them. How did you figure out the bow weight? Was there a size on the bag, or did you estimate that as well?
I am on Lake Sammamish, which is about due east from Seattle. It is a public lake, and probably different than the Sammish one you referenced.
What boat are you thinking of next? Must be a pretty nice one if it is replacing your FX22!
