  1. Bob U -- late to the party here. I had the same concern on my 244. I had an avalanche and the little ones were scared because of the exhuast noise. Put an FAE on it and MAN it was dead silent. Sold that boat and eventually got the 244. With the larger engine (409), I knew I had to silence the exhause as much as possible. This time around, I opted for the Centurion pipe/exhaust tip. It's not as quite as the FAE, but it SIGNFICANTLY reduces the noise. Inside the tip is pretty hollow... but the downward slope and cut of the tip keeps things in the water and muffled. Did you decide either way already? Good luck!
  2. Which lake? I think I meet you at Saguaro a couple months ago. I've been on the lake when a microburst hit... 5 foot waves, mehem at the boat ramp & on the water. I'll keep an eye out for you - would love to see the wave that fx22 puts out!
  3. SUV towing

I pull my enzo 244 with a 2010 Toyota Sequoia... does just fine. Our Sequoia has a 'tow' button, which basically holds it in gear longer for acceleration and downshifts for you when braking.
  4. CREW DEAL: 2014 DECKadence Marine Flooring

Hey Admin -- I've got a 2012 Enzo 244... any way I can sneak in on this deal? Alternatives?

  6. I watch 'em fill. I've had it a year now... bought it from a guy who was pretty clueless, so I never got the rundown on which switches fill which bags... so it's been a learning process. To this day, I still have no idea how much total ballast my system has. Can anyone help me fill in weights? (2012 enzo) Quickfill: starboard, port, and center Plug-n-play: bow, starboard locker, starboard mid (under seats), port locker, port mid (under seats)
  7. Starting to wonder now if there is some blockage or something between the bow & stern and the water is just collecting in the bow & not making its way to the stern.
  8. Pretty sure I have an automatic bilge in the bow. The stern is almost always dry (near vdrive & engine).
  9. A few pics of the toy...
  10. Thanks guys -- great ideas I'll be trying out. Sure beats stomping on the brakes all the way home!
  11. Wondering what the best way is to completely drain my SV244 after a day at the lake. After trailering, it will appear to be dry. I check under the middle rear seat - dry in hull near vdrive... but when driving home if I stomp on the brakes, my bilge turns on & spits out a steady stream of water while I'm breaking... usually onto a car next to me. This can continue almost indefinately as I trailer home and brake hard a bunch of times to evacuate as much water as possible. Anyone else having problems with water pooling in the bow? Isn't all that water supposed to make its way to the stern and out the back?
  12. Picked up a 2012 Enzo 244, fully wired with wetsounds amps, speakers, etc. Sound was working great... then the tower speakers started to crackle... then went out. Now the speakers inside the boat are out too. I suspect it's battery-related. In trouble shooting, I'm trying to figure out what the little clear box is picutred below the amps... some type of controller, power monitor, converter/spliter or something. I couldn't find a model # or anything. The display on it currently reads 0.00. Not sure if it's a battery voltage reading or an error code. Can anyone tell me what that thing is, model, etc.?? Thanks!!
  13. Looks like the 244 is the way to go. Thanks!!
  14. Anyone have a strong opinion on whether I should go 233 vs 244? The two I'm comparing are both 2012 models and have 20-30 hours. The 244 is fully loaded, has the 403hp engine, massive sound system, is wrapped and looks just plain sick. For $10k less, I can get a 233 with similar options, not as sweet of a sound system, and would probably want to buy a wrap for it. Both are solid options, but thought I'd turn to the community for some feedback... Thx!
  15. How did the Avy with right hand drive turn out? I have an enzo that I want a right hand tranny for surfing
