You want the bags so you can drop the weight when not using it. Whether this I'd for trailering or just cruising, there are times you don't want the extra weight in the boat. Lead PLUS bags is really where you want to be.

Can someone tell me if this is normal? I sure as heck don't remember this from last year. Boat is sitting on the ramp just pulled out of the water. Water will drain from around the prop shaft for over a minute. Bow is higher than stern. Dealer is telling me this is the water draining out of the V drive cooling system. Any dealers on here that can comment on this? 2016 SV233 with the revised gear ratio for 2016.

I have a ton of water in the bilge. My boat was always bone dry when I pulled it out of the water last year. Now I get a ton of water when I pull the plug. I can't seem to convince my dealer that this is not normal.

I did call PCM and asked that exact question. They said routine maintenance does not need to be done at a dealership. In fact, they mailed me a thermostat that went bad for me to replace myself. As far as I know, it's only the initial 20-25 hour service that they require the dealer to do. You can see my write-up on winterizing a H5 in the diy section.

I would have zero issues buying a Ri with the H5 at sea level. I boat at 6,070' with the H5 in my boat and love it.

I have no experience with the Evo cover but I've been very happy with my OEM cover. Just as an FYI, I have an aftermarket bimini so I'm not wedded to OEM everything.

I'm with InfinitySurf. Looks like a CATS issue to me and not a rudder issue.

Could be your fill valves. I had issues with mine not always closing. Pretty sure I damaged my seal on one side by over riding the Ramfill to fill more at speeds over 20 mph.

I can tell you I have a LOT of water that drains out my plug at the end of the day once I get nose high on the boat ramp.

I'm in membership limbo so unfortunately I can't add the photo that would make it obvious. Anyway, there is a "skinny" black piece of plastic that has a cylindrical protrusion that the silver rod from the T handle goes into. Right behind that is a longer rectangular piece of black plastic that I'm sure is where the gate is. In between the two pieces of plastic is where it is leaking. It leaks at a pretty good clip when the Ramfill is full. I think Centurion should allow an adjustable Ramfill timer and limit operation to between 10 to 18 mph and this issue would likely go away. I'm sure it's happening when we're driving down lake at 20-25 mph and hit the fill override once or twice. Too much pressure on the gates when opening or closing at those speeds as NW Boat Sports mentioned. The drain valve I don't really understand. It's possible (maybe even probable) I have a ballast bag fitting leaking onto the drain gate valve giving a false positive. Need to check that this weekend.
