  1. Keeping my boat on the water in a slip this year. Wondering if any of you have experience with a solar battery tender? No plug ins on the dock?
  2. 2015 s226 2017 trim plate ?

I built it to bolt on. to adjust it perfectly with the existing tab all I did was drill slightly larger holes for the bolts. Then with an extra set of hands you can use a square or straight edge to hold it flush while you tighten the bolts. Used some nice stainless washers and nylock nuts to secure the plate. I did it this way just in case I didn't like the results of the stinger plate. Can always go back to original by removing the bolts! ?
  3. 2015 s226 2017 trim plate ?

So the stinger plate works great. With the suck gate the wave is a little washy. But tons of push and quite long. The plate adds a ton of adjustability. The wave is way more sensitive to adjustments with the bigger plate. Also now the bow is down nice and low while surfing which is a bonus for the driver.
  4. Drew listed we run full quickfill and pnp on the surf side. Plus we add an 800lb fat sac on the rear surf side seat. And a 400 lb sac on the floor I. The bow. Then fill your opposite side quickfill, get underway and the drain it until the wave cleans up. Now I have a Tsunami wake shaper. So I fill both quickfills and both pnp bags and put on the shaper. Works great no extra bags required and yes have a couple big friends 6'4 260 they surf no problem. But the board matters too
  5. Same boat as you except 2015. Absolutely no noise at idle. But in gear at very low speed there is a high pitched whine. But only at that speed. Dont think there should be any marbles sound? Any vibration or just the noise?
  6. Ri 217

Hey 257 any idea what Wizard is asking for the black and blue beauty? Thats my dream boat. Thing is gorgeous
  7. Ri 217

Any update on your buddy's boat decision blues man?
  8. Towing a 238 with the cover on?

Seems like it's personal preference. Some do some don't. I've hauled long distance with the cover just so all the gear doesn't fly out. But some advice would be to wrap the hull where the cover touches with shrink wrap to prevent rubbing your gel coat. The cover will damage the gel over time. Learned that lesson the hard way. Short trips with nothing that could fly out I personally would just leave it off.
  9. Registration & insurance should be it. I took mine down to Montana last year and had no problem at all. They didn't even ask for paperwork. Where are you headed!
  10. I have a filler cushion and haven't used it yet. Trying to find lead bags in Canada?? Will try this if I can get some lead.
  11. Yeah I find the coolers useless too. Will have to try the bags. Seems like just 1-200lbs is all that you need. Anymore than that gets sketchy! Had 2 big boys sitting up there once and the bow really sinks! Warning label says 370lbs max in the bow so will want to stay under that!
  12. Cool. Is access under the floor easy? Haven't lifted the carpet to see.
  13. Running out of gas with the boat in tow

    Lmao genius!
  14. Guys just curious if anyone has added sub floor ballast to their S21? Not sure if this is possible? Is the S226 hard tanked in the front or plug and play? Just need a few hundred pounds up front. Would be nice if it was bellow the floor. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers
  15. No did not try listed. As I'm trying to get away from listing. But I could try it again and let you know the results. Im almost ready to pull out my extra bags and pumps because stock ballast and a few people is all I need now!
