This is the culprit responding to the folks that are members here and to AK Enzo. I have been in business as a Centurion dealer for 7 years. I have never made a customer mad like I have with AK Enzo. What he stated is unfortunately accurate and embarrassing. My only excuse is we are only as good as the employees that staff our company. First in my defense I lost over 1/3rd of my nose to cancer on 9/8 very close to when the boat came in. I returned to work 10 days later but was on extensive pain medication until 10/24 when the second procedure was completed. During this time frame is when the before mentioned nightmare occurred. I am embarrassed that my employees did not realize the stupidity of leaving the cover off of such a pristine boat not once but twice. When I got involved we then brought the boat inside our shop and kept it there until it was detailed and dried out. We then returned it to his storage facility for the winter but I guess it may not have been as dry as we thought. The bottom line here is I take my customers pride with their boats and expectations of my dealership extremely serious and this was just literally a train wreck and one that I hope will never happen again. If AK Enzo will have us I have just created a credit memo to his account for $1000 to try to ease the pain and extend my hand of apology. Hopefully when I see him on the water this summer he won't pull a seal move on me and snap my neck but if he does I guess I had it coming to me.
