  1. Warranty issues?

I have the same problem with my vinyl and the same cracks. I've had other problems with my boat and Centurion has not been easy to deal with. My dealer has worked on my behalf but I'm amazed at how poor Centurion's customer service is, particularly Shell. She is abrasive and could give a crap about you and your boat. Good luck. You will find a common theme as you read other posts.
  2. Can anyone please tell me how many blue drain plugs there are on the 2008 Black Scorpion 330? Also, how do you winterize the ballast system?
  3. GOBIG, I follow you until you get to adding the additional pump to the overflow for draining the bags. Do you have a diagram of your system? Also, what type of pump did you add. Thanks, Troy
  4. I have an 08 Elite V and my lid is also busted. They are cheap piece of crap.
  5. Thanks David. I tried to remove the phillips screw but the location is impossible unless you have a 90 degree screwdriver, which I do not have. I took a chance and shot four pumps of grease into the nipple. I dropped the boat into the water and the shaft remained completely dry after a day in the water!
  6. I just purchased a 2008 Elite V with 42 hours on it. The bilge has been filling with a few inches of water. I removed the rear seat and heard a steady drip of water. I reached down and ran my hand along the drive shaft and I could feel a steady stream (not drip) of water streaming from the shaft about half way up the shaft. To determine if the water was coming through the hull, I raised the boat from the water on the lift. The staream stopped. When I lowered it into the ater it began again. Doe anyone know how to fix?
  7. Today I removed the floor from the boat to examine the gas tank and lines. The line leading from the top of the tank to the engine was secure and did not appear to be a problem. While I was checking the line I noticed a small piece of discarded carpet under the gas tank. When I picked up the piece of carpet I noticed it was soaked and when I smelled it I discovered it was soaked with gasoline. Leak! I looked around the tank and could not find the source of the leak. I could not see where the gas enters the tank from the filler hose. Where is that located and how do I check those fittings? Based on another forum users feedback I removed the anti syphon fitting from the top of the tank and cleaned it with WD-40 to remove any gunk that might be clogging the valve. I also flushed the bottom of the boat to clean any gas through the plug hole. I left the floor out of the boat to allow everything to dry and air out tonight. Tomorrow I plan to check the boat again for a leak and call my dealer. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
  8. I just purchased a 2008 Elite V with 40 hours on it. Unfortunately the boat continually has a gasoline fume smell when the boat comes to a stop or when driving below 10 mph. The smell is strongest from the hull vent on the driver side and under the driver cockpit. The smell is also strong in the engine compartment and rear lockers near the large black vent hose. I took the boat to my local dealer and they checked t out and say everything looked ok. I aired out every compartment and the smell goes away. However, the smell comes back when I run the boat again. Any advice is appreciated.
