  1. I'm sure V-drive art up is different, but direct drive has fresh air supplied by two vents in front of windshield. Hoses drop to ski locker. Blower is attached to hull, port side, next to gas tank, in the rear of the boat. Inlet/draw from blower brings fumes from engine compartment through a hose through a stringer under gas tank, then out through vent under sundeck, port side. Starboard side has a hose that attaches to nothing. I believe it's there to vent gas fumes from tank area. Attwood turbo 3000 was what I took out and replaced with the same. Good luck.
  2. You guys sure know how to make a guy with shaft and nut problems feel welcome! See I would have gone this way... Shaft, he's a bad mutha, Shut yo' mouth! Welcome to the crew.
  3. Man Ski, you threaded a needle there. Looks good. Let me know how your knee likes that420 at the end of the season.
  4. Don't think I'd be to concerned. Water could've gown down between seat cushion, or side pad. If it was a bunch of water on a dry day, without anyone wet sitting up there, then maybe I'd think different. If you get a chance, check it on your next outing. Keep the area as dry as possible, then see what happens.
  5. Just throwing ideas at the wall here... ballast impeller might need replacing. Sounds like you have some wiring issues. Can you try taking something out of the mix. Maybe a ballast pump? See what happens. Check all connections for being loose. Seems to me it's a wiring issue, too many things are blowing fuses. Wiring Guru's might chime in anytime.
  6. Welcome to the group! Pics would help. Are you talking about the ski locker in the floor? Don't know if set up is different than what mine has. Anyway, my center ski/storage locker does hold some water. It has carpet in it and does drain to bilge, just doesn't do it completely. Maybe you got water through vent hose to that area?? Normally, I take a wet/dry vac to mine after an outing.
  7. Welcome Natedawg. Loved the stuff you did with Warren G! Best bet, find model number on back side of gauge, or manufacturer name. If it's Faria, you could always go to their site. You can also get hull# off the boat and contact Fineline and they should be able to direct your next move.
  8. Bought my boat last fall. 2005 with 114 hours on it. Some people get boats and think they have time to use them, just to find that it doesn't happen. You also have to take in account that weather/location may play a factor.
  9. Pics? If it's a Sahara model, the cages are the same. I replaced an 1100 gph with a 750 gph and base/cage is the same.
  10. Welcome!Take a look on boat trader. I've seen some on there. You might have some Crew responses, for selling, at the end of the season.
  11. Just wondering what your using. We often anchor in 3ft of water and I'm interested what works best. Seen the aug hog and the sand shark. I like the sand shark (ultimate)because the tee handles fold and can adjust down to 30" so they can be stored easier. Prices are pretty high, between $100-$250. They look similar to earth augers for landscaping and outdoor shelter anchors. These I can get from Amazon for much less. Thoughts? Thanks.
  12. New Boat

Welcome to the Crew. Nice boat!
  13. When I got my boat, PO replaced Attwood Sahara 750 with the 1100. They were on a trip and the original took a dump. The only one that a shop had was the 1100 model. Of course, the replacement had a 1 1/8 discharge on it. What I did was buy a 750. The cages are all the same on the Sahara. Two tabs and re-wired, good to go now.
  14. I'm in the process of a DIY on something. Pics when I'm finished.
  15. Like how you guys think. Go big or go home!

Did you go naked true? This needs to be a good clothed/naked post.
  20. Man, if I had a dollar every time I heard that!
  21. Good call true. Think I saw a post about that. Think it was rhunt chasing an overheat problem.
  22. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=UxLfF2abE_o Try this, hopefully the link works.
  23. The part with the famous blue plugs is plastic. Should come part of a kit.
  24. The raw/sea water pump should be plastic. The kit should come with the housing some o-rings, a wear plate, and impeller.
  25. Are you replacing the impeller, or doing a complete kit? I believe there's a wear plate also.
