Brandon check your gain on your amp for the icon 8's. Some boats have been set from the factory ridiculously conservative. Spend s little time tuning it and I think you will be ok, and if you don't want to have bags everywhere buy a pair of 900lb bags for the rear lockers (they just squeeze in there) and replace the 550. It's pretty cheap, simple and clean and makes a world of difference on a 238. - Cody

Having spent a reasonable amount of hours in many boats with the 340/343, 409, H5 and H6 in Centurions and Supreme's I would say the EX3 does the job, but barely. It's working hard to pull a loaded 226 or SV233. It ain't moving an Ri217. The H5 I find is a good upgrade over the EX3 and I really thought it was fairly comparable in performance to the 409's with the old gear ratio plus it was way quieter and amazing on fuel I thought. The H6 is just a powerhouse, the motor pulls. The most impressed I've been in a long time was my first demos in the 17 Supreme's with the 409. Full ballast surfing with Quicksurf at 3000-3100rpm and super quiet, the motors not even trying. I loved the H5 though. Vicky sent me the photoshoot FS44 last summer for a demo and it had the H5. I thought she was crazy! But it worked well and hauled the mail with ballast full w/ Quicksurf and listed and we had 8-10 people in it many times and it worked fine. The base motor in 15 was the ZR450. The H5 with the 1.72 ratio works well and I have been very impressed with it.

Yes we are super stoked to have Wizard Lake on board. Shipwreck did not do Centurion as a brand any favours in western canada and caused us grief with numerous things from 8 hrs away constantly. Jeff at Absolut is top notch and your go to guy for Calgary and southern Alberta. Wizard is doing North of Calgary and if you happen to be one of those crazy people from Saskatchewan then you can come see me - Cody The Centurion/Supreme Marketshare in Western Canada is going to climb huge. Excited to see where things sit in 3-5 years!

Like many I was very bummed about the switch from boatmate to Extreme originally and let Fineline know it. BUT....once I seen them in person I seen a lot of things I liked. They look great and are very well built sith some unique features and updates boatmate didn't have. I really like them having seen them in person now. - Cody

On a more serious sidenote with all of this I do understand and hear everyone frustrations and an awesome dealer is key for sure! I had a very good discussion for a few hours over supper with someone from Correct Craft earlier this week and customer service is their number one priority working with Fineline. They do recognize the short falls and things are definitely heading in the right direction, believe me things are and will be getting much better. However we love everyone in customer service at Fineline and they are awesome to work with and take care of us and our customers. That being said having a good dealer is so important and I know even though I want everyone to buy their boats from me, if there is a customer with a different brand of boat or a Fineline boat that was not purchased from us we do our best to treat them as our own because when it's time to upgrade....you know where I'm going with this. Lol. Some customers will invest in the dealer first and in return the dealer will invest in them, but there will always be people the dealer needs to invest in first and sow the seed and hopefully see the return on their hard work and service next go around when it's time for the customer to upgrade. We knew it was coming. Just couldn't say anything! I'm very excited for it for the simple reason not everyone especially in our area needs or wants a boat as big as the 237, and I'm hoping price comes in just under the FS33. But we will have to see...no word yet. Mark and Cole are down and the meeting and I'm up with the snow holding down the fort as well! - Cody
