I am tired of the pieced together system I have on my boat, so I ordered some stuff last night. Can the tech guys on here tell me what they think of the setup so far? Rockford Fosgate M600-5 (50W X 4 at 4 ohms plus 300W X 1 at 4 ohms) will power 4 in-boat Kicker KM6000 6.5" speakers (recommended 50W RMS at 4 ohms) and the sub channel will power one Memphis Audio single voice coil 10" (Recommended 250W RMS at 4 ohms) in a vented box. Rockford Fosgate M600-4D (300W X 2 at 4 ohms when each side is bridged) will power the Kicker KMS674's (recommended 200W RMS at 4 ohms) inside the Kicker KMTED cans on the tower. I am going out to look for a receiver today but it won't be driving any speakers so I am mainly looking for something with USB and Aux inputs and three sets of RCA outputs (One Front that will go to the in boat speakers, one rear that will go to the tower speakers and one sub out for the sub). I figure if I wire it as shown I will be able to control in boat volume by fading more to the rear so the tower speakers will still be loud. How does it look so far? Will I have decent sound at 80' while boarding

Thinking about selling my truck
LTRGUY261 replied to LTRGUY261's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
We will start with Dura's $10 and increase in increments of $29,990 until we reach $30K at which point the increments will decrease to $200! -

Not really a desire, but I seen skill videos that recommend you powerslide the board to work on edging and balance. I can't seem to powerslide. Would a Liquid Force Trip be a good board to invest some cash into?

Thinking about selling my truck

That is kind of where the problem is. The only real comparable trucks are late 06's and the 07's based on changes made to these from previous ones and changes to the 08's and later. I base this off of what my buddy who wrenches on vehicles said. From what I have gathered the 07 classic is a fairly sought after vehicle. -
I have an '07 Chevy 3500 Classic 4X4 crew cab long bed Duramax and have been toying with the idea of selling it, here is why. We are going to get a motorhome that will be the main tow vehicle for the boat. We are also going to get rid of my wife's Montero and get a Tahoe or Suburban for her which could also tow the boat. The only other thing I tow is a small wood trailer which I could pick up an older used gasser to tow. I am sure I would miss the diesel power, but other than that I haven't thought of any other reasons to keep it. For the last few years I only drive it on occasional long trips, but mostly just to tow the boat. So if I do sell it is $30K to high? It has all of the following Canopy Leather Heated power front seats Goose neck tow package sun roof running boards bed liner Nice chrome rims 3 inch Tuf Country lift New tires Sliding rear window 6 disc CD changer On Star Bose speakers 65,000 miles[

An older HL Motive 140. The fins are probably 3.5" long and stick down from the board maybe 1.5".

That's great news. Hopefully you will have it back in time to get it on the water this year.

Thanks guys. I think we were at about 18 on that one and a 70 or 75 foot rope (it is stock length I just can't remember what that is). So I need to rope close to my waist. What about my turns so far? I feel like I should be able to slide the board on the water but can't get it to break free. Is that because of the fins on the board?

what is this on my dash?

I am sure you have noticed in reverse you can't steer the boat with the steering wheel? Try steering with the magic silver knob in reverse, Centurion is the only V drive with this reverse steering option. -
Only the 2 boards on the tower, so not much stress on it. The tubes were on the pylon.

I know I keep putting my hands one over one under, but what else can I work on, do differently?
