Any idea on pricing? I'm trying to decide what boat I am going to order for 18...

I'm curious as to how many of you take young kids out on the water. The reason I ask is because I've been shopping for an Avy or Enzo, but I'm not sure how much use it will get. I have a one week old now and don't want to buy a boat if its going to sit all summer. My real question is to those if you who have had kids while owning a boat, how much use did you get out if it before your kids turned 2? Also what age did you start taking them out? Any advice/experience is much appreciated. I would love our new daughter to grow up on the water, but I'm in the nw so our boating season is really only 4 months long. Not sure how practical a boat is with a newborn...

I agree, some of my best memories from childhood are the boating vacations we used to take as a family. I just wanted to make sure if I bought a boat this year I would be able to get some use out of it. Thanks for all the replys so far!

Thanks for the feedback. I started getting worried when half the boats I looked at where being sold due to having kids. Luckily I have a supportive wife whose only concern is finding a life jacket.
