  1. How does everyone have their manual trim tab set? (for surfing vs. boarding) Folded up? Straight out? (perpendicular to the hull) Other?

  3. Really dumb question, my 06' Avalanche is my first Vdrive coming from an old OB Bayliner. There's a metal 'dial' on the right side of the helm, mounted forward of the switches - and I can't really determine it's purpose. When I move it while underway, it just seems to modify the speedometer (not the actual speed of the boat). Help a newbie out.
  4. Acme was a great help, based on my clearance I'll stick with a 13" - Acme 1643 for me.
  5. I mostly wakeboard/surf with about 1200 lbs ballast on my 2006 Centurion Avalanche 330 HP, used in the Minnesota lakes area. I think the stock prop is a Acme 497. Any suggestions for one more tuned for surfing/boarding?
