  1. All, I am beginning to get phantom presses on the Touchvision for the 2013 Enzo SV233. I understand that Murphy will not repair these because of an agreement with Centurion. However, I found a company that may be able to repair it. Does anyone know how the Touchvision is sealed? Does anyone have a unit that was broken and sitting on a shelf? if so, I would pay to have the part evaluated for repair so I don't have to take my boat offline for 4 weeks. I need the company to see if the screen can be serviced before I take my working unit out of the dash. Send me an email to r@unc.edu or reply to this thread.
  2. So I gave up and was going to order the newest version (x2). Then I noticed at the bottom of the attwood literature that these things are on a 10 year warranty (pretty much unheard of). I contacted Attwood, send them my boat BoS, and they are sending me a replacement unit
  3. Yup. Every place is out of stock. I am hoping a dealer has it on their shelves, or I am going to have to replace 2 of them.
  4. I can't find this anywhere online. Any dealers still carry this? Mine does not
  5. mission delta / FS44

I think, so far, the people that are trying it out have RAMFill. I don't have that (2013 was the last year of the pumps).
  6. mission delta / FS44

I was actually wondering how this would work on my 2013 SV233 to improve the regular wave. We have a reverse rotation prop. Our goofy wave is beautiful (which is all my wife and I surf), but I've never gotten a nice clear regular wave. It bothers me. Anyone have experiences similar and used the suckgate to make it better?
  7. I thought there had to be a discussion about this, but I didn't see one... Centurion has eliminated all lines except the Ri for the year. I have zero experience on the Ri, other than knowing for an equivalent 23 foot boat over my SV233, I would have to pay at least 20k+ more for it in Ri. It will definitely make us think twice about getting a new boat.
  8. We now have 300 hours on on 2013 SV233 with the 343 at 200' of elevation. We normally surf with around 3500 pounds of water added around 10.8. No issues. The only time I had wanted more is when we were bowl surfing. You have to get the boat up to around 14MPH for those shenanigans, and we had to dump some weight for that to be possible. So, under normal circumstances, the extra motor is wasted at our elevation.
  9. The 2013 has the double. I'm a little dubious to doing the plate adjustment since the models after mine had CATS. I know that the rudder adjustment works because Jeff told me. I may just have to reach back out to him. Did anyone here make the modification that Mob mentioned on their 2013?
  10. I have a 2013 SV233 with reverse rotation prop, so my goofy wave is awesome. The regular wave is messy. I was told by Jeff Page of Inland Surfer that adjusting the rudder trim tab makes a big difference in cleaning up the wave on the other side. I have never been able to try it because up until recently we weren't lake property owners and it was too cumbersome to try something in the water, but now that I have my own life, it isn't difficult. So, can someone remind me what way I point the trim tab on a goofy waves boat to clean up the regular side wave? How far do you adjust it? How much does it mess with your standard maneuvering.
  11. Double Lip on the surf

As above, its hard to see, but normally when I get a second lip, it is when I have too much weight on one side (or not enough counter balance on the opposite side) and I have to make adjustments. And 12 MPH is too fast. You should be surfing around 10.5->11.2. We surf, for fun, at faster rates, but it isn't the best surfing.
  12. fs33 gph test

Some of you have it way too easy. At Lake Gaston, it costs $3.45 a gallon for the 93 octane 10% eth mix, and $4.40 for the ethanol free. I mix the two. Last year, it peaked around $3.80 for the eth mix, and $5 a gallon for ethanol free. Starting to approach the 100LL cost of the plane I used to own (is around $7 a gallon now, I believe at RDU). We spend over $3,000 a summer on fuel. Some of you must be driving the 200k version of the Centurion to consider $3000 in fuel for a summer not a very significant cost of boat ownership, that or you are only boating a few hours a year.
  13. I have SkiSafe. Just had my front two teeth significantly damaged wakesurfing. Board hit my teeth. Do you know if med pay will take care of this? Office is closed now. Looks to be around 3k in damage to my grill :$
  14. Are you running sacks inside? If it is just myself and my wife, I run both quick fills (1000 pounds), the PNP on the side we are surfing (750), the pro ballast (600), then I throw a 750 pound fat sack against the seats on the floor (butted up to back seat) and another 450 on the seat running front to back. I will also run about 150 pounds in the bow. It lowers the engine RPMs, and doesn't seem to affect the wave.
  15. blues: Be prepared for frustration on whatever side the boat isn't setup for. The non-native side will never be as clean or easy to setup as the native side. I have a right hand rotation. My wife was goofy, and I am regular, so I just decided to commit and to surf goofy, and I figured it out. I'm quite good at goofy, and it always impresses everyone that I surf both sides We took some friends from NJ out last week, and they were both goofy. Took me a lot of playing around to get it right.
