  1. KORITFW - Had to google it, no answer. Wife walks past, I ask, not expecting and answer because when is she ever going to know anything I don't right? Indignantly she looks at me and says "keep on rockin' in the free world" dude!
  2. FIXED! Fixed fixed!!!! Righto, let me sum up my stupidity for you guys. Disconnect all the cables from the battery and start over. Separate the red ones from the black one's Hey look this guy used a Black connector with a red wire....hmmm pull sleeve back, yes definitely a red wire, connect that to B+. check other wires find all else ok! connect wires, try again. Smashing pumkins 1979 starts blaring through the stereo. Blower and all 6 pumps working fine. Sit back Crack beer Thank guys on the forum.
  3. Ok, so this is where I'm at, power for the battery is ok12.6. Power to the fuse bus is ok, all points on the bus light up. Test light says every switch has power coming to it and with the ignition on the sideswipe clicks from left to right, ironically this is the only switch that has anything happen. The question of whether or not the switches light up when turned on, No the light does not come on. I will keep hunting.....
  4. Lights & Stereo, it stood for a week thereafter. Got battery fully charged overnight and same result, power to the helm, no blower but a quick test shows that engine will crank, so I'm pretty sure there's enough juice, now to be honest I didn't count the wires bit the wires are clearly taped red and black.
  5. Three Red, three black, one breaker on black, one fuse on red, red fuse is ballast system for sure, I will acquire meter tomorrow along with new battery, will let you gents know what I turn up. I have to say, I've been reading this forum since the start of the summer when I got my boat and am blown away by the help on here. Thanks guys.
  6. Thanks Duramat, checked that that. it wasn't tripped. I did look into the battery specs and I think Ive been lucky thus far with an underpowered battery, its a Nautilus 650 MCA - Starting battery, not a deep cycle, i suspect this is the problem or at least part of the problem. I'm now obsessed with it I might sleep in the boat tonight with my iPad whilst searching for the answer......
  7. Hi All, I hope someone can help me here, I have an '08 Lightning, I recently had to take the battery out to charge it because one of my kids had pushed some buttons before we took the boat out the water> Problem now is: once ive reconnected the battery i get power to the instrument cluster and the engine, but not the stereo, ballast pumps or the blower? I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box and the inline fuse for the ballast pumps and theyre all ok, my battery charger however shows that my battery is only 3/4. the voltmeter on the instrument panel shows just below 12. Could it be that my battery is just on its way out or something more? Any insight here would be greatly appreciated Thanks
