Have this boat. Ripped out the hard tanks and replaced with sacks. If you surf goofy do the Asymmetrical wakeplate mod. The SV230 is the original surf boat and still hangs with the new boats.

Info on building a adjustable or auto wake plate of 08 avalanche
Shaka replied to Modrods's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
It looks like the SV and the Avy C4 have the same area down there to fit a plate. If you have a fixed plate you may need to fill the holes and redrill for the new plate. The only other issues are that the exhaust is right on top of the wings. -
I just ordered what was in the other thread.

I've set up production on these and will be offering for sale soon. The initial design is for the SV series boats but I think it will fit on an Avy. I sent the plans to a friend wth an Avy to make sure. -

So this gets tricky. If you want to keep listing your boat then build an Asymmetrical wakeplate. This will clean up the goofy side. If you want to do a surf system you will need a double wing plate as you will be weighting more evenly. The double wing clears up some prop wash that becomes a problem when weighting more evenly. At least that's how it works on the SV boats. I'd wager it will be the same on an Avy. -

That's what I found with mine. I think my hull is 18 degrees but I ended up with the wing at 21. So much better now. Also I'm building both an A plate and a double wing plate for those who might want one. Two styles depending on if you have the existing Bennett actuators or need a lenco to run the plate. -
Bad vibrations while in gear..... help!

Agreed with above. Get your prop fixed. -
New here, with a few Enzo questions ~

It's a wind dam used to block the wind when cruising. -
It cost me about $120 to have a plate made. There are instructions on this site.

Don't add a Lenco tab. Get an . Asymmetrical wakeplate fabricated. It will help your goofy side. Use a Lenco actuator. If you want a surf system I can help with that.

Does the Typhoon have the walkthrough? If so I wouldn't. My friend with the SV240 trailers with the Switchblade. You can insert silencers in the pipes to lessen the noise of the Sideswipe. Works great. The Skylon towers crack and break. Unless you know a good welder who can re-enforce it it will continue to do so. The tower on the Enzo is much better.

My favorite aftermarket is the Roswell Aerial. To me it looks the most like something that would be on a Centurion. It's also used by Moomba.

My platform sags a bit on one side. The part of the bracket that attaches to the transom is slightly bent. It's tough to see unless you remove it from the boat. -

The A plate made my goofy better than my regular. The regular is still great but the goofy got that much better. -
Enzo SV GSA install

Nope. For whatever reason this site will no longer let me do it. I suppose I'm not paid up but when I try to pay it will not accept it. I've PM'd the admins a couple of times with no response. All I did was cut the Trex a little longer than the top of the bracket where it mounts to the platform. I then place the Trex on top of the bracket and then put the platform on the Trex. Make sure to pre-drill the Trex and get one inch longer mounting screws. -

I raised my platform up an inch using Trex decking material and longer screws. -
A plate spray
Shaka replied to Jakelegg's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Mine is mounted under as well. That naturally will cause a bit of turbulence but there are things you can do. My first problem is that my wing wasn't bent up enough. I had it bent so the angle was a little more than the bottom of the boat. The other was I had to move the mounting bracket back so that I could get more up angle. Initially the up angle of my plate was barely above flat. Once I got more up angle the spray went away. Last year I used a suck gate and weighting more evenly made things even better. this year I designed a surf system and that's working out well too. -

Need to see pics of your A plate. Mine sprayed pretty good until I figured out that I didn't have enough up angle. Once I fixed that everything was good. -
Fuel consumption Fi 21/23
Shaka replied to dukesofhazzard's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
I've been developing a tab based surf system similar to what's now on Centurion and Supreme. One of our first prototypes went on a Malibu VTX. Using the Tabs instead of the surf gates lowered the RPM's by about 1000. The wave was excellent with a lot of push. Tabs are far more efficient than gates and give you a bit more wake shaping ability. -
I think it's somewhat hilarious these speakers are getting slagged by some who haven't seen or heard them. The cult of Wetsounds rides again! (I have all Wetsounds speakers but recognize there are other viable options.)

Also posting pics isn't a big of a pain.

Looks like a stretched Fi23 to me. Not sure how you can like the 23 and not the 25. I guess the tower is a matter of personal taste. I don't mind the new version.

What other forum had it?

I don't mind the tower. I wonder if the Ri boats will have this new tower. I think they are slated to have a power option.
