  1. It's been a bit since I've been on here but thanks for the great InfinityWave review! Yes we can make an Aplate or a double wing plate that will fit that setup. Probably wouldn't even have to send it in.
  2. My boat got it's first run at Lake Powell last weekend and the steering is pretty stiff. I know that means a new cable is probably needed. I'll be trying to eek out one more trip on the old cable before changing. Does anyone have some advice in changing these in an older Enzo? I know you have to pull up the center floor panel to do it but I'm not sure what the rest of the job entails.
  3. Gel Coat Mismatch?

Matching gel coat color exactly is a rare thing. I'm curious how off it is.
  4. Replacement Towers

The Roswell Aviator Pro is the best aftermarket tower right now. Pricey but I think worth it.
  5. All of our Malibu customers have been happy. They are on VLX, VTX, LSV, and I believe the MXZ as well.
  6. I can't believe Centurion released this boat a few days ago with nary a mention here. We're slipping!
  7. If any of you want these for your SV boat I'm starting a new manufacturing run today. Contact me if you're interested: shakarocks@hotmail.com
  8. Great hack fort he switch which helps keep the boat stock. I put mine on the armrest by the throttle. I could weight evenly in my SV230 for most riders. However, my favorite was to have slightly less weight on the non-surf side. I could still do transfers that way although the wave wasn't as optimal on the side with less weight.
  9. If you do the stereo options you get a Roswell 12" sub. If all you get are in-boats there is no sub. If you put a sub in you will have to have a hole cut for it. Sometimes they glass in a sealed enclosure to the back of the kick panel and sometimes they do not. There's no way to ensure that they do. I just got the in-boat speakers and mine has the glassed in sub enclosure. I still have to cut the kick panel hole for the sub.
  10. It's great that you are happy with your tabs. I worked hard on the design with a lot of prototypes.
  11. Replacement Towers

You could always get the Roswell Aviator Pro or just regular Aviator. I think they are the coolest aftermarket options. https://www.roswellmarine.com/product/aviator-pro-wake-tower/
  12. I forgot, I did the baffles in my Sideswipe and it made a significant difference.
  13. I think switching transmission to fix a goofy wave (or vice versa) is a waste of money. If you're a lister an A-plate will fix the problem. Yes Infinity Wave will fab up an A-plate or a double wing plate. We have yet to put them on our website because it's really a custom job and we don't a lot of them. If you want one please feel free to contact me.
  14. Nope. Our prototype boat was my SV230. The fit will be the same. We didn't get much video of our final tab as it was finalized and tested later in the season. I'm going to ask a guy tonight who took a lot of pics on my boat if he shot any. If you really need a video reference just look for video of an SV244 with Quick Surf. Our tabs are similar to the current offerings other than the fins which is actually an improvement.
  15. News on this coming guys. Finalized the design which incorporates some of the latest touches. A-plates and double-wing stinger plates as well.
  16. Fi 25 on the way

To Admin's credit I just got an invoice for the site which I promptly paid. This site has been a great resource. I'd like to see both the Facebook area and this area get a lot of traffic.
  17. Fi 25 on the way

interestingly I've tried to re-up several times and it will not let me. Messages to admin do not get a reply. I can't post pics either but not for a lack of trying.
  18. Zs232 opinions

SE, SA, and SL are all fine surf boats you just have to set them up properly. Any boat is susceptible to weight distribution and fluctuating crew numbers.. The key is as you spend time with said boat you can compensate easily and adjust. I haven't driven or surfed the Makai but I wouldn't kick that boat out of bed for eating crackers. I'd add some ballast and figure it out. I think that Centurion beats the Supra/Moomba with their hull shape and surf system.
  19. They look exactly like the ones on the website only they have a cutout to accommodate the swim platform bracket mounting area. The SV series tabs hinges are welded to the tab rather than bolted on because there is no need to be universal. I used my SV230 to design them. The transom of your boat and mine are exactly the same so they are a direct fit.
  20. Those tabs will not work on an SV230 due to the swim platform bracket mounting area. Whatever tab you use (except GoSurfAssist as they are long not wide) will need to take that into account. My company produces a watersports trim tab that is designed around the SV boats. We also make a universal version. The tab for the SV boats isn't on the website but it can be ordered through me. Both the universal and SV editions have some upgrades over the Supreme style tabs. https://infinity-wave-mfg.myshopify.com/?fbclid=IwAR0nD3uUKvrbN6mDcD-SredPv2I-pEMzmgkUOmyIA-rCtvrXad7b5lVFqYc
  21. Hmmm, I've never had trouble getting pm's. You can reach me at shakarocks@hotmail.com. We are still setting up our website and haven't set up email yet. Calling the number on the page will also work although you will get Rob. I don't have a ton of pics of the SV setup. However, I get a great goofy wave. I'll see if I can find some pics.
  22. Our system is simple. Two rocker switches similar to what is in most cars. It's super-easy to hold one down and pull the other up when you want to do a transition. It's also easy to dial in. On that particular Malibu you hold the switch down for a count of three and you are pretty much dialed in. My SV230 is the same. Every boat is a little different but once you figure out the adjustment for your boat it becomes second nature in a big hurry. I've found that around ten degrees down angle is about right on both the SV and the Malibu. The tab will hot deploy all the way down unless you decide to do that. We could have designed an automatic switching system but one of the goals was to have a design provided more benefit to the boat than just simply achieving a surf wave. These are great at tuning wakes for everything from wakeboarding to tubing. They also work as trim tabs. In order to do these things we wanted simple manual control of each tab. My family's boat growing up had dual tabs on the back and we used it to create giant wakes for maximum kneeboard air and to prevent bow rise when trying to get a slalom skier up quickly. The tabs were incredibly useful in the terrible conditions that can occur in places like Lake Powell. Our new tabs do all this and help create a great surf wave.
  23. https://infinity-wave-mfg.myshopify.com/?fbclid=IwAR0nD3uUKvrbN6mDcD-SredPv2I-pEMzmgkUOmyIA-rCtvrXad7b5lVFqYc We have a version of our universal watersport trim tabs specifically designed for SV series boats. The universal version will not work on SV boats because of the swim platform mounting location extends to the bottom of the hull. I did an SV version that takes this into account.
  24. I can get you one made. Infinity Wave will be offering A plates as well as double wing plates on one-off basis.
  25. Winterize-Do I Need To

You should probably winterize. If the power goes out during one of our extended cold spells you are at risk.
