  1. Wylie_Tunes, my question is where is my key getting power from when the batteries are off. i have a drawing but its is 3.5hrs from me and i dont feel like drawing it all out again lol. I have the three batteries switched individually and then down to one common post to feed control power to everything dash side. i left the two 0awg leads from the starter direct on the starting battery for inrush current draw purposes. I also left the amps on the second battery for the same reason. just cutting the control power side...but apparently not the key...
  2. My 05' Avy had dual batteries not switched and i did a pile of stereo upgrades so i added a third and switched them all to a common, so i can have all three on or just one or two. battery 3 is a 1200CCA Starting Interstate, 2 n 3 are Group 28 Interstates. I hooked the 0 awg leads from the starter direct to battery 3. Hooked The amps direct two battery 2. Charge lead to common. Key and Accessory to the common lead so any or all batteries will work. nothing works when the switches are all off. today i bump the key and i get test beep as normal on start up.... not sure if there is an external lead to the key off of the top of the start solenoid which is fed from the 0 awg start leads..... plan is to have a look tomorrow, anyone have any ideas? electical troubleshooting is not an issue for me just thought id ask! Thanks Crew
  3. Its not incredibly loud......its got a nice throaty womp to it at idle, and on plane its louder then regular exhaust but were not talkin loud like a 1075 SC Merc..... I wouldnt make mine quieter at all. Surfing, close the surf side, no fumes and much quieter, you can talk to the boat no problem. just my .02
  4. the sac is out of my boat right now drying and cleaning for the winter, otherwise id get a pic for you. I run the enzo, the stock center hard tank 250lbs and the starboard sac at 250lbs just to help sink the entire stern as to just the one corner. im trying to find a pic of the wave for you. I normally run with those sacs loaded and 2-3 people in the boat and the wave is perfect. Clean and nice and long, just to a curl. Ill have a good hard look and try and find a picture of just the wave for you.
  5. Hey, I have an 05 avy with sideswipe and im running an enzo sac and its fits no problem. Sideswipe doesnt get nearly hot enough to hurt the sac at all. the enzo sac comes back just far enough to barely touch the exhaust tube. As long as your exhaust clamps arnt facing the sac and there is nothing else sharp there you should be fine. Im not sure on the exact dimension of the 1100lbs sac but i ran an centurion tank buster kit with my enzo sac. I made a small mod to the drain pump line as it was very short and when the sac filled it wanted to squish it against the exhaust. Once i made the tube about 8 inches longer the pump is not on the back side of the exhaust tube and the sac sits perfect. Im sure someone else on here as can you out with the 1100lbs sac as i know your not the only one running it. second thought why dont you run an enzo sac instead?
  6. Worst week ever.

Kazz! I see your from guelph! Im from just outside of london. Where did you keep your Avy? Id take you out to Puslinch riding if i didnt just winterize. Throw up some pics forsure. Maybe give Walkers Point a call and let them know if you havent yet, also maybe the boys at Pride. I know a ton of guys in the industry and ill def be talking to them to keep the eyes and ears open. Hope Shes Found.
  7. Oil Drain hose

No worries, thanks for the info, I tryed to fit my thread on hand suction pump but it was too tight. I just picked up a12V oil extractor pump with the poly tube dip stick line and outlet to a pail. If it stops raining today I'll see how it works.
  8. Going to winterized my Avy. I have everything ready to go as I just did my raw water intake mod. Where is this oil drain hose people speak of? I searched but im thinking my boat doesn't have it. This is my first Inboard boat so I've never seen this option before, always been sucking it out the dip stick but the exhaust is so close to it I'll have to find a smaller flexible suction tool. Any help would be awesome. Its an 05 Avy Storm 3, with 5.7 black scorpion.
  9. Trailer Build!

Paycheck. The very rear bar is what is called a drive guard. Normally see them on a race boat or an offshore trailer to protect the drives. It unpins and comes off the trailer or swings out and open to allow the boat to come into the trailer. I put it on to simply protect the boat itself, as for if someone were to ever rearend the trailer they will run into a 4x2 tube first instead of the Avy. Thanks for all the likes guys!! Def pretty happy with how it turned out. Test pull home was yesterday and it pulls and feels awesome behind the truck. Everything worked great!
