  1. Wake World Vent

*ridiculous Just messin! I've found that there are less asshats in the specific forums. General Wake and Non Wake are two places that the jerks are out in full force. But if you have a boat question, camera question, trick question, there are specific forums that deal with it and the people seem to be more helpful.
  2. This goes hand in hand with that other thread! Art Jeffries and the crew at Airtime Watersports in Virginia Beach, VA have always done great work for me.
  3. Boat Dealers

After I bought my first boat, the dealer and I became great friends. Like hanging out on weekends type of friends. He's been there for me a lot when I needed it. I've also done things for him, like drive down to the Woodland plant to pick up a boat or something. When my wife hated her job and decided to quit, he gave her a job selling boats. This winter, he helped me winterize my boat so I wouldn't have to pay the $400 or so that it would cost to have done in his shop. He met me there on a cold Sunday morning (when his shop was closed) and he showed me what it is all about. Pretty damn cool. I send him business every chance I get. He doesn't have wakeboarding gear, pretty much no retail at all. For that, I've been known to travel an hour to get to my "local" boardshop. I know they charge more than what I can find on line, but they always give me a discount so I will continue to go back. Plus, it's pretty cool to have a place to try on bindings instead of just purchasing on a whim from boarders best buy or something. (I have purchased stuff from BBB.com though!) I guess you would say that I like to support the local businesses. Maybe that comes from growing up in a small town?
  4. New Video footage...

We don't have the BTT. I can't see the vid at work, but not much changed from set to set.
  5. ELC, that's exactly the pic I was thinking of!
  6. I saw a picture of a boat on a trailer that looked like it had a full on bow guard that effectively does the same thing as the mudflaps...maybe better? I can't remember where I saw the pic though.
  7. Let's See Your Best Photos?

Here are some ones I have on my work computer. I've probably posted all of these in other threads, but it's fun to see them again.
  8. Lake Gaston

I just saw him at lunch but forgot to tell him about this thread. I'll e-mail it to him now. He needs to know about this.
  9. WakeDoc, I think the idea would be to have it in different locations from year to year. So you might be a guest on someone else's boat at the Norris event, but you could return the favor by hosting some of us on your boat next year somewhere in the Texas area. A great idea. My wife and I have been looking for different vacation ideas and being able to center them around the boat, since it's been so much fun. This would be a great time. I will talk to my wife about it and see if we can make it happen. Lake Gaston, Lake Anna or any of the many NC lakes could be a great spot for an east coast event a couple years down the road. I'll be watching this thread. I really like this idea.
  10. Lake Gaston

CS, What's up man?!?! Not sure what we are doing for Memorial Day yet. We usually go down to the Pamlico river in NC with my family. I've heard that holiday weekends up there are nuts! I'm guessing you are going to do some morning runs and chill the rest of the day? As a Hokie and a Centurion owner, this seems hard to pass up! haha!! It would be fun to tie off and chill in a cove with other Centurions while the crazies pull S-turns throughout! I will let you know if plans change. WakeVB will most likely be there. He's been crazy busy at work though, so he hasn't had any time to post up. I love love love the thought of starting to plan summer events. This winter stuff sucks. And don't even get me started on that damned Punxatawney Phil.
  11. boat lettering

Maybe you're boat isn't internationally recognized as a championship boat... Just kidding. You can order those stickers from the factory. In an attempt to get some older nasty lettering off, I removed the whole "Centurion World Champ Towboats" and ordered new ones. I can't remember how much they cost, but it shouldn't be too much. It was lumped in with another bill. Looks like the first "N" in Centurion might be a little scuffed. Might be worth replacing the whole thing as well. I mean...if you're going to replace part of it, right? Good Luck!
  12. I can't offer any advice on installation, but my heater has been our savior on numerous occasions. It's nice to have the heat pumping out on your feet after a chilly ride. The hose is also nice because you can jam it in your sweatshirt and heat up the core. I love it.
  13. Can I go ahead and say it?? I'm going to.... you guys suck.
  14. completed winter project

How on earth did I miss this thread??? Looks great! Do you have a remote for the ipod itself? Will that remote that you installed work it? Or will you have to rely on playlists?

Looks very clean and sleek without the decals! I like it!! You might look into getting just the bubble stickers that say Centurion, from the factory for near the transom. I took off my old decal and added that to it, and I think it looks worlds better. Great looking boat!!
