  1. Be carefull Tragic Story

Man that's horrible. A good reminder as I sit idling alot of times as well changing out riders. Will refrain from doing so as it only takes once!!!!
  2. ^^ yup - typical lake lice! ^^
  3. Any crew members in Montana?

I'm in MT but a good 6hrs away in Billings. It's a big state!! Sounds like Kstens would be your ticket if you can get it worked out.......
  4. ^ same here! ^ And once the tone changes on the pump you know they aren't pumping water anymore. Almost no way to not run them dry so over time the impellers are going to wear out anyhow. Cheap insurance for a part you are eventually going to replace.
  5. CRAIGSLIST FINDS

That boat has been for sale before or for some time now. On EBAY also...........
  6. You wasted your money...

another edited video trying to go viral. Had my interest for a few seconds................
  7. LOL thats funny! ^^^ and just as easily could have put the labels on the top of the pumps instead of the brass bottoms.
  8. Ri237 demo

It really sucks when the consumer knows more about the boat than the selling dealer
  9. Boat load FAIL!

I'd venture to say they don't wipe it down after every use! haha
  10. the 2 pumps on the starboard side look like they are installed upside down. A good way to ruin the pumps. Tower speakers are like the trailer, don't order with them and buy what you want!! Still hate the windshield but I could grow to live with the dash.
  11. I'm hoping they used biodegradable RV antifreeze for the ballast? Thats what most do and also use when flushing engine. It's pretty inexpensive
  12. I'd pick up a spare or 2 just in case. You don't want to ruin a good weekend by not having them in case you need one!
  13. Boat load FAIL!

WOW are you serious. I can't believe some people?? LOL
  14. I still get the service required warning intermittently on my 226. Selling dealer did a flash update and said that was the issue and it's only come on twice since that was done late spring. Happened alot last season. All vitals are perfect so it's a mystery to me?? I'm thinking its a bad sensor. But with so many of us getting it I'm surprised there is not a known fix out there
  15. Silver knob: what is it?

It allows you to go 4 or 5 times as fast at the same RPM
  16. ^^ in a way there is based on the capacity plate with peeps or weight limit posted. But how on earth could the FWP patrol that and really know exactly how much weight people are running??
  17. I'm pretty sure the dealers have a choice (or at least they did) regarding trailer manufacturers and which trailer they offer up with the boat purchase? What I found when I ordered my 15 was that west coast dealers primarily used VM and east coast primary used Boatmate due to shipping charges and end user pricing. However I know of some west coast dealers at that time that sold their boats with boatmate regardless. Maybe they don't have that leeway anymore?? I ended up paying for the Supertube VM and been more than satisfied with it. I had 2 boatmate trailers with previous vessels and my supertube is much better all around. But I paid a hefty penny compared to the basic VM. Can't say that I am overly excited about the switch to either at this point.
  18. ^^ I just might take you up on this?? ^^ I've asked in other threads but not found an answer as to whether the plate helps the starboard wakeboard wake at about 15-18mph? If it does, I'm in. Don't care about goofy surf and I can clean that up with other settings but A-plate would just be bonus for surf. I don't like going 25+mph to clean up the starboard side or turning port everytime the rider crosses especially when my 10yr is boarding.
  19. Supreme S238 vs. Axis T23

2 years ago when shopping my short list included the Axis 22 and Supreme S226. Same findings when I really dug around both of them the difference to me was night and day. Also I personally don't like the Axis windshield so It was an easy choice and consequently would be a no bueno on the '17' 238 as well because of that change. On a side note, your going to find everybody over here is going to tell you Supreme and everybody on the bu crew is going to tell you Axis. That should be common sense and no surprise. Crawl around them both, look in every nook and cranny, and demo them to really see the difference and see what works best for you! If your dealer sells them both then your fine but if not, the dealer is an extremely important part of the equation and I would spend as much if not more time investigating each of them. Good luck and report back which direction you end up going!!
  20. Right turn Clyde - Talk about derailment this thread needs some LOL - very entertaining though
  21. It literally showed up UPS 15min before we were leaving for the Lake. So I slapped on the rear traction and the front center and narrow runners expecting that I'll change that. First board I planned on using wax - didn't want to cover up the graphics. Was in a hurry to get out and have an extra set of fronts from the 1st board so still deciding which way I want to go?? Looking for clear viscus or similar.
  22. 2017 S238 ?

Thumbs down on the dash and windshield - "fuggly" Tower gets a thumbs up. Not much to get too excited about imo. If I was in the market I'd be shopping hard for a 16 but that's just me!
  23. SC HC Pro 4'6" I'll start another thread with the whole story but the short of it is just got it on Thursday before I hit the lake. It was the second one Jeff did for me as the first one got stolen early May before I was able to even ride it. It's been a long few months here but extremely happy, pissed, & sad all at the same time!! More info. to come and I'll be looking for some fin setup advice.
  24. My wife finally going ropeless Me and My 6 year old My first session on my new stick
  25. There have been alot of cases of spray issues on the FAE for Supreme so until I hear of reports of it being a non-issue I'm holding out.
