  1. This is most likely your problem. FWIW I swapped out my house bank to 2-6v golf cart batts and I shore charge my boat after every use. We can float and listen to tunes all day long
  2. These oil threads always make me chuckle! It's always a never ending debate like the chicken and the egg. Each has their own perspective. But Quite frankly I have never seen a thread regarding damage to motor or pre-mature failure due to a certain Brand of oil being used. The response above and multiple user posts over the years is good enough for me to keep using and enjoying my boat.
  3. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

THAT IS Hilarious! Cool pic but I'm afraid the nickname is going be showing up alot on this site going forward LOL
  4. I've been using my boat with the 1847 continually while the proactive approach saga has continued all summer long. Other than possible gel burn the setup is awesome!! Long story short - my selling dealer (no longer Supreme dealer) doesn't care and has lied throughout the process. Fineline basically won't fix the issue until is shows itself so no real proactive solution available. I am ordering a 1631 to try as a solution crossing my fingers that It performs closely to the current setup and gain me an extra bit of clearance to hopefully avoid possible damage. I'll keep the 1847 as a spare. If performance is lacking I'll send it off to Nettle Props over the winter to get it shaved down for added clearance and possibly beat some more cup into it per ACME recommendation. what setup did you end up with Zonk and Phillewis and hows it going?
  5. Reach out to them and tell them you are on here I think you'd be surprised that they are not as expensive as you think. Plus they are better than the WM kit in my opinion! As far as pop bags I do those too in addition to upgraded kit. We use that compartment for our AO cooler and full of drinks and ice probably another 100lbs there. When we fill the sac we just pull it out and set it on the floor on surf side. No difference than moving around the lead bags. When we are done we put the cooler back in on top of the sac. I too got a new boat so I wouldn't have to deal with external pumps and sacs on the seats/floor. But that's just me. Reversable pumps are just fine for what we need.
  6. Like H said - bow tank full, surf side QF and PnP bag full, then add some more weight (peeps, lead, more fat sack ballast) on surf side for epic wave, 11-12mph trim tab at 25% for starboard and about 75-100% for goofy. no counter weight. Stock ballast should be very surfable. The upgraded PnP bags and lead really makes it that much better. Enjoy!
  7. Anchor recommendation

They are awesome when anchoring off shore. You can buoy your boat out and when loading or unloading you can pull the boat in close stretching the anchor buddy and then release into deeper water. They really work slick without ever beaching your boat.
  8. Anchor recommendation

I had a box anchor and it worked fine. I currently use the digger
  9. 2nd NW Boat Sports bagbuster system. Bigger rear sack and midship bag connected by 3 hoses. They are awesome to deal with. If need be I can measure and get dimensions for you sometime this week
  10. Supreme S238 vs. Axis T23

Great feedback and glad you are able to demo each boat that you want. Unfortunately where I'm located I don't have that luxury. If you do it right you can demo them the rest of the year and not have to purchase a boat this year and get plenty of water time. Then you might grow a good thick beard over the winter and do it again next season and they might not recognize you!! LOL
  11. haha all you guys and your GPH calculations. I don't want to know so I just fill er up, pay the Benjamin, and go boating.
  12. Viking's S226

It's wrapped up and zip tied within a couple feet of the paddlewheel on top of the gas tank. Just follow the cable off the paddlewheel and you should see it. I did NOT remove the floor panel. Thought I might have to but I removed the rear seat so I could get an arm and shoulder in the opening. It was tough but doable. I fished the puck and line along the starboard gunwale and did most of the work at the opening near the speakers first. Then along my heater vent hose through the starboard storage compartment behind the drivers seat. It's easier if you clean that whole area out to work. Good luck!!
  13. Same here and I slam it with weight
  14. RMA 812s

Why do they pull that pooh??
  15. FS33 FS44 prop hull burn?

I haven't heard of any of the 226's with bubble getting the burn. Issue was with the 2015's and no bubble. But they may have changed the prop diameter as well for 2016+? Interesting that even your boats with the bubble are having the issue and it seems the issues have been isolated to 2015's on both brands??? I'm thinking more and more that the main cause might be related to QuickSurf being it was the first model release..................HMMMM
  16. Here's what I did on my 226. Basically same concept as H20 but I left the front facade panel end at the box so I could still utilize the floor space by the pocket. Really no loss in leg room as foot step was where the front of the enclosure ended up.
  17. FS33 FS44 prop hull burn?

I didn't option mine with QS and not certain if Zonk has it or not. Maybe that is the issue? I list mine exclusively so I'd be interested if any members with prop burn are evenly weighting and that (plus minimal clearance) is the cause??
  18. FS33 FS44 prop hull burn?

He was running same 1847. Both Zonk and I have white bottoms. On the 226 there is only 3/8" clearance running this prop and he got burn. Think it was the first post of the issue on either Supreme/Centurion on the forum? I've been extremely worried it's going to show up on mine with such little clearance but not as of yet!
  19. FS33 FS44 prop hull burn?

Good question Stoked but I think first posted issue was Zonk with a white hull bottom. But rest of them have all been colored that I know of. I'm at 100hrs on my 226 with no gel burn like others have had and running Hi-Alt 1847 prop
  20. Brass down or horizontal is the way the pump manual indicates but I've seen them installed in boats from factory upside down. One seal failure and the pump will be ruined. The impeller is easy enough to get to from the bottom when installed correctly so I really don't see a reason to do the other way?? All 3 of mine are done correctly with 2 vertical and 1 horizontal
  21. Supreme S238 vs. Axis T23

    That's pretty neat!!!
  22. S226 research

For reference since the wakeboard wake has been talked about alot in this thread - this is 20mph (a bit faster than I would like to go) with no ballast and 2 adults/2kids/small dog in the boat.
  23. Me on a 360 attempt - FAIL My oldest cutting it up on the wakeboard My oldest going getting the hang of this thing called surfing
