  1. My little shredder

He is looking good! Keep us updated with his progression! You must be so proud.
  2. July 2012 Picture Thread

A dust storm blew in today while we were riding.
  3. My first custom board build

Yeah Duffy, I've been working with Nick on a new board. I will post some pics when it's ready.
  4. Thanks guys, this is just a preview of the instructional videos we have coming out. I really appreciate all of the feedback.
  5. My first custom board build

Hey Dark, I'm glad you ordered a board. I really think you'll enjoy it. Let me know how it rides and if you need anything. Welcome to team Shred Stixx!
  6. 360 attempt

Whenever I 360, I try to gain speed down the line of the wave. If you pump, make sure they're in rhythm and not too aggressive. Next, try bending more at your knees and not at your waist. The best way I can describe this is to spin like you're doing squats weightlifting, making sure your back is straight, and all of the pressure is applied to your knees, not your lower back. You can help this by only putting your right hand in the wave and keeping your left at your side. Keep practicing and keep us posted on your progress!
  7. New 244 Enzo

Thanks again guys! I had it at the Shredstixx/Slayshtank video shoot this weekend, and it throws a massive wave. The police also gladly informed us that the stereo far exceeds the maximum sound output allowed by the sound ordinance on Lake Austin; the flashing multi-colored LED's didn't help us out either... @duffy- The horns are in the center of the cone, they're just hidden behind a very thin layer of fabric. @irocn- I also think it will be stronger than the original fiberglass. It is a very sturdy, high-quality build.
  8. New 244 Enzo

Here are some pictures of the finished install. It sounds even better than it looks! Everything is sealed up and water tight. The amp boxes were built and installed so that they will support everything properly. We only lost about 4 inches from the ballast area under the seats.
  9. New 244 Enzo

Here are a few more from Insane Kustomz and Treo Engineering. These are pictures of the amp boxes. One of the things that I asked Insane Kustomz is that we not lose any ballast or storage space. They came up with a very creative design. @LakeSurfer - The amps and speakers are Treo. We should have the finished product later this weekend and I can post some information on the install as well as more pictures.
  10. New 244 Enzo

Just got these pictures in from Insane Kustomz of the audio / lighting install
  11. New 244 Enzo

@jag- I have never ridden a boat with a switchblade, but I've heard it makes a big difference! The wave on my Enzo 240 is huge and has a lot of power to it without the switchblade. I haven't ridden my new 244 yet, but the one I rode at worlds was very similar to the wave of my 240.
  12. New 244 Enzo

@cook, wakedoc- There, I uploaded one just for you guys!
  13. New 244 Enzo

Thanks guys! @doug- My boat came with the standard quick fill ballast- approximately 500 lbs. on each side The standard center ballast- 250 lbs. The pro ballast system- approximately 694 lbs. on each side The plug and play ballast system- approximately 714 lbs. Total ballast- Approximatley 3352 lbs. At worlds last year, Centurion increased the size of the pro ballast package (dual midship ballast).
  14. New 244 Enzo

@cooks- The new boat came with the quick fill ballast system, the pro ballast system, and also the centurion plug and play ballast option. All of the ballast came installed from the factory, so everything is ready to go. The new centurion ballast arrangment is practical and easy to use, and everything fills in a matter of minutes. I will post up pictures of the wave once we get it onto the water.
