Yes, the WiFi on the GoPro will automatically turn off when you start up the quad. The Fat Shark goggles have not interfered with the quad so far in any of our flights. The tablet comes in handy when we are on site because we can pull the memory chip out of the GoPro and put it directly into the Samsung table to see have the video looks.

I have a tablet, and my friend has the fat shark goggles with his. Mostly though we are just taking lots of shots (we have three batteries a piece) and editing

When my surfing friends say they would love to have a new wakesetter with surfgate I just laugh and laugh and laugh. Dont get me wrong the Malibu is a beautiful boat (alot nicer than mine). They scough at the idea of buying a centurion, but then claim they are intimidated by the size of the wave my Elite puts out. I think alot of it has to do with name recognition and being able to brag about how much money you gave for your boat (not to say that a new Centurion is no expensive enough).

Im in western NC at Lake James. I think Kerr is around 4 hours for me. I would love to see an east coast wake surfs event as well.

Thanks, I am actually using a wifi module along with my phone to check codes on my vehicles. It sure would be nice if I could use the same app on my boat.

I recently purchased a diagnostic code reader (OBD2) for my vehicles. Does such a device exist for boats?

I have an 06 Elite C4 and we surf better than most with a 750 in the rear locker, twin 400's in the seat and a different prop. 280 hrs. 25k three years ago. Great boat, easy to tow, and came with pp. (PP will save your friendships and your marriage)
