  1. Mounting a Sub

Sloner do you have a heater? If not you should be able to mount a sub box up under the dash and it be totaly out of the way.
  2. Tower Speakers More Power / Less in the Boat

You could wire the fader to do front is the in boat and the rear is tower speakers. To do that you will have to install another amp because the front chanel of your head unit won't power all of the in boat speakers. The best thing to do is get another amp and the wet sounds WS 420. It works great. If you want to do it in stages you could add the amp first then the WS 420 later.
  3. night rides

How do you find the rider when he falls or drops off?
  4. Top, I know that you are frustrated and rightfully so! I still don't understand the Marine dealer world. With being a dealer for a boat company it's almost like it's day to day with them. I'm friends with three dealers in my area. I've purchased product from all of them. The manufactures seem to be able to just walk in and take your franchise no matter how good you've done with it. So the dealer closest to you doesn't want to cause trouble with the factory and mess up his relationship. There are horror stories with all the makes. Just like the car business. The only other thing I can suggest is to ask for the contact info for the district sales rep in your area and get him involved. Just remember that persistence will get you further that rant and raving.
  5. Top, Will you give is a little more information about you situation? What did you buy? You said that you purchased it new in June 2009. I can tell you that the hour meters have been a problem for a while. The one in my boat is bad right now and my friend has had two replaced in his. As far as I know the battery doesn't come from the factory the dealer installs it. You should be able to see what brand it is and take it and your bill of sale a get a replacement. Some dealers use Interstate Batteries some use other vendors. I've heard nothing but good thinks about Shell at Finline West. Have you sent pic's of the problems with your interior?
  6. I just want to know which one is correct. The amount of hours are not a concern. I just want the correct info. So is the Perfect Pass correct or do I need to have the hours pulled off of the engine ECM?
  7. I've noticed the Faria hour meter on my 07 Typhoon has quit working. It was working the first part of the season. It has stopped at 59.2 hours. The perfect pass has an hour meter built in and it is showing 90.8 hours. I've also heard that the engine ECM stores the hours also. With this has anyone else had any experience with this? Is the Perfect Pass correct? Has anyone has theirs checked? I've heard of others having problems with the Faria hour meters. I'm going to order a Hobbs digital to replace it.
  8. NC Surfer, First of all welcome to the Crew! I see that this is your first post. Will you give us a little more information? What year is the Enzo? Did you buy this boat new? Who was / is the dealer? Did you have this problem from day one? Have you had it back to the dealer to be fixed? Do you know what it needs to fix it? We'll see if we can help you. I've just had some warranty work done on my 07 Typhoon. So they are taking care of there customers.
  9. Have you checked the connections at the battery? Be sure that the wing nuts are tight and the connection is clean. If that doesn't help then get a volt meter and measure the voltage at the battery. It should be 12 volts without the engine running. Check it out and let us know.
  10. Garaging Options

A I store my boat close to the lake. I pay $75 per month. The good thing is I don't spend money on gas pulling it back and forth from home to the lake. I proably save more on gas than what the storage fee is. Now with that said the down side of storing it away from home is not being able to work on it or clean it up as often as I would like. Also when I had a boat that would fit in the garage after every trip to the lake I would open it all up and I had a fan that blew on it and dried it out in 24 hours. There have been a lot of post on other sites about the metal carports and some guys have gone all out with them. They close the sides and ends, install lights and fans. Check these out. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/549852.html http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/message...921/203414.html Hope it helps!
  11. 2008 Typhoon C4

Dejoeco, I have a 07 Typhoon. I'm just starting to explore what it will take to adjust the wake for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. My son is the one that rides behind it. He has never comlained about the wake surf but now is starting to complain about the wake for wakeboarding. I'm currently exploring the possablity of changing the prop. With full factory ballast and eight people on board I have problems getting the wakeboarder up to speed and holding it. I had a Avalanche and sold it when I ordered the Typhoon. The extra foot of length really adds to the room in the boat. Let me know if I can help and I'll keep you up on what I do with mine.
  12. Wake - Performance - Props = Questions

Kevin, Eight or more people on board, full factory ballast (3 Tanks), and 875 elevation.
  13. WakeDoc Thanks for reply. I've found out that Boatmate offers the package to install the runway lights. It is $135.00 for the kit with 12 lights, switch, and other things. T5 I leave the lights pluged up and on too. It's just not lit up to well. I thought that the runway lights would help. Thanks
  14. I've noticed through out the summer that my boat (07 Typhoon 330hp Scorpion) doesn't have the power I think it should have. I know that the kids are getting bigger and also putting more demands on the boat. So here are a few scenarios to see what you think I need to do. Both problems are happening with full factory ballast, and 8 or more people on the boat. 1.) When I pull my son or his buddies on their wake boards I have a hard time getting up to speed (22 to 24 mph). 2.) When they surf, everybody in the back on the port side it's seems that the boat is doing all it can just to get to and maintain 10 MPH. 3.) When all of this is going on Perfect Pass has a hard time maintaining speed. (1+ mph over and under) Is this just normal problems with close to a full load and ballast or do I need to look at changing the prop? (Factory prop size unknown) Is there something that I'm missing?
  15. SRHoffman Check this out! http://www.centurioncrew.com/Fiberglass-Sw...l=swim+platform I also think I've seen the same problem somewhere else. My experience with the rubber mat is the helmet head shape is rough on the knees. For that reason I chose to leave it off when I ordered my 07 Typhoon and had the simulated teak mat installed. Here is the link for that product. http://www.ttcustommarine.com/about.html
