  1. I have a 2005 Avalanche with the black scorpion motor. If I shift from reverse or forward to neutral too quickly the engine dies. I was thinking it might be the interrupter switch but I was not sure how to adjust it. Any insight would be great thanks.
  2. the guy who owns the boat is on here. He posted a while back about the boat. I thought he might have said he had the cushions.
  3. Thanks. I did take it out on Saturday. It was still cutting out. Its not so bad you can't drive the boat, you just have to be aware of it. I am going to replace the IAC and the throttle position sensor next. I know its probably not the TPS but I'll have it off and the boat is 12 years old so why not?
  4. Thanks. I did that and am charging both batteries. I also inspected and adjusted the throttle linkage. I'm going to take it out Saturday, if it is still doing it I will check the IAC valve.
  5. Anyone know where I can get a 2" fin for a phase 5 board with a screw through in the Sacramento area by this weekend? Thanks in advance.
  6. I am pretty sure they did the cap and rotor but I will check that also. Thanks
  7. I also use the Babes products and have been very happy with them.
  8. Yes the dealer did the routine service in April. Impeller, fuel water separator, oil change, etc. It was running perfect the first day and a half then started doing it the last part of the 4 day lake trip.
  9. new swim platform??????

I just picked one up for my boat that I found on Craigslist. Got really lucky. I'm sure you could call fine line for one but I can't even imagine what they would cost.
  10. I agree. I just happened across it on Craigslist when I was kind of thinking of switching and decided to go for it. On a side note. Does anyone know where I could get the rubber and stainless steel rub rail for the swim platform? Thanks
  11. I found a really good deal on a brand new fiberglass swim platform. I would like to switch out my teak one on my Avalanche. The current teak one is warped and separating. What size are the stock ones? Any drawbacks to the fiberglass one? Thanks in advance.
  12. It is a factory swim platform. I found it on Craigslist for $250. Brand new never been used. I just have to figure out how to mount it now.
  13. I've seen that posting. Any ideas on how many hours it has? Is the guy willing to drive anywhere for a test drive. I might be able to meet him at Modesto reservoir for ya. There is another clean one for $24k in the Fresno area.

  15. I had a 93 falcon XP. I couldn't find a centurion manual but I was able to find an indmar manual for the motor and a velvet drive manual for the tranny. You may have better luck that way. Also the skidim people know a lot about older boats. Hope that helps.
  16. Bought a 1973 Larson 1700 Shark when I was 17. Great boat. Never had an issue on the water. Then got a 2001 Monterey 190 LS. Terrible boat. Nothing but issues on the water including catching on fire once. Then got a 1993 Centurion Falcon XP DD. Great boat. Never had an issue on the water. I currently have a 2005 Centurion Avalance Storm III. Have not had a chance to take it out yet but I am very excited.
  17. Maybe check the fuel pump relay or fuse. Do you smell gas when you try and start it?

Daz. I've actually wanted one of those for a while or the Chevy Kodiak. The one I posted was more of a sarcastic post. Especially if you start to read the description and look at how much he wants for it.
  20. Pretty cool surf video.

I thought you guys would enjoy this video. Makes me want to travel to Spain.

Rollins, Tulloch, and ice house are all pretty full still. Was just at Rollins for the holiday weekend.
  23. If you are like me and change your impeller every year and try to save the previous year's as a spare. I found a tool that pulls the old one out in a second without damaging it. I use the spring tool for a two-stroke exhaust header. I would imagine a lot of you guys probably have one. Just push through turn and pull. I used the fmf one. Just thought I'd share. http://www.fmfracing.com/Products/Accessories/402
  24. Thank you. We like it. It does just about everything we want to. I see a lot of them in this area.
