  1. Duramat, I have a UFP A-75. Looks like the snapping of the emergency brake cable caused some damage to the brake release bracket. Now I have to replace the entire inner member (the unit that holds the actuator, cylinders, etc) as UPF tech support indicated. About $144 new. In order to remove this unit, I have to remove 2 pins and the brake hose fitting that comes from the trailer to the back of the actuator. There are 2 nuts - Nut "A" which is attached to the actuator and nut "B" is attached to the brake line. Does anyone know if I should remove nut A or B? I tried nut A but it's feels like its welded on. Nut B turns the brake line but the brake line turns also making it difficult to unscrew. I tried to see where the other end of the break line attaches to so I can unscrew it there first to prevent the twisting but it's about 7 inches deep inside the trailer arm and I can't reach that nut. Ugg. Any thoughts anyone?
  2. Thanks for the reply Jeremy. I will give that a try. Hopefully I can find something on the trailer to indicate who the manufacturer of the trailer is so I can call them to get a replacement cable. If anyone else has had the broken cable issue, any advise would be appreciated.
  3. We have a 2008 Centurion Enzo with the original factory trailer. Today my fiance forgot to unhook the emergency brake cable from the car after we parked it in the storage garage. Long story short, we pulled off with the emergency cable still attached to the truck and the cable snapped. The ends are frayed. 2 Questions: Does anyone have a any articles or advise on how to replace the cable? Are my brakes locked at this point since the emergency cable was pulled? If it's locked, how do I unlock them? Thank you ahead of time. What a way to a day of surfing
  4. I have a 2008 enzo and the regular rider's side creates a beautiful wake. Now the goofy is another story. It's decent (much better than my friend's Mastercraft X2) but not close to my port side. I have a 750 in the rear lock and a 500 lb fat sac on the starboard seat behind the driver. Works "OK" but I have found having someone sit on the starboard side V-Drive compartment works best thought not recommended for safety. I have seen folks fill up a 5 gallon plastic pale with cement and tie it to the swim platform. Never tried it but looks promising.
  5. Cavro, Have a tech check to make sure your shaft is nit slightly bent due to a previous accident. A slight bend can cause shaking.
  6. We took the plunge and went ahead and gave the Dodge Durango Crew V8 Hemy a try and loved it! So we went into mccord dodge in Longview washington. First of all the service and treatment we received there was the best of any dealership we ever visited. Longview is a smalltown and we received the smalltown treatment for sure! So we towed our boat there with our current 2008 Denali (tow capacity of 8,200 lbs). They kindly allowed us to put my hitch on the 2011 Dodge Crew with the V8 Hemy. The sales person took us around the inside roads and then finally onto the freeway. Did several stop and starts and went up some small hills (nothing big). The Durango felt very solid. I could barely feel my enzo behind it most of the time. Once I got on the freeway I would say it actually towed better than my Denali. The inside of this car is a representative of all new toys and technology that a car has to offer in this day and age - bluetooth, usb, sattelite radio, tv, backup camera, very nice leather, etc.
  7. Thanks everyone. With trailer post in place I fit with about 3 inches per side to spare. Feels so much safer in a locked storage than an open RV lot with a cover.
  8. Does anyone know of the width of the centurion 230 enzo with trailer is? I am looking for a trailer spot and the spot I am eyeing is 10 feet wide entrance. I know the boat is 8 ft wide without a trailer. Thanks ahead of time.
  9. Whatcha Think?

tprice, Great looking boat! Small world. Last season, I went into Clemens Marina several times to for boat work and every time I have seen that boat. It was actually there many years ago when I first bought my 2008 Enzo 230. Glad to see someone picked it up. Congrats.
  10. Fresh Air Exhaust system

I have been using the FAE for 2 years now. Everyone who surfs behind my boat loves it. Not only do you not smell the fumes but it quiets the boat motor down quite a bit. We can actually talk with the person next to you without yelling in their ear. Has not come loose once and sturdy as can be.
  11. I have the Physco I purhased 2 years ago and it's by far the best suit out there! I am literally dry on my chest when I peel the suit off. I have taken it out in 45 degree water feeling very confortable with the water. Make sure to only hand wash (or you have a handwash cycle on your front load like I do ).
  12. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will post any feedback on this vehicle if I decide to move on it.
  13. So the lease on my 2008 Denali is ending this June. I am looking into leasing the new 2011 Durango with the Hemy. It's rated to tow up to 7100 lbs. From what I read, my 2008 Centurion Enzo SV230 weights 4400 lbs dry. I am assuming with all my sounds system, full tank of gas (about 300 lbs), and any gear etc it would be about 1,100 additional lbs. So I figure my boat is about a max of 5,500 lbs. Based on specs it should be able to tow the boat just fine. I would be curious to see if any has the new durango or could offer any helpful input or advise. Thank you ahead of time.
  14. H20King, What is the name of your brother's shop in Portland? I have a 2008 Enzo 230 with the exact same problem. Thanks ahead of time.
