  1. We now have two older Falcons, we run one for a week and then switch to the other the next week, have about 50 hours on the '89 and 40 hours on the '92 so far this year. The water temp in the lake has been above eighty for about eight weeks now! Great summer so far.
  2. How do you spend your time?

We spend nearly all our time skiing and barefooting. That's why we still have the older SKI Centurion. It has nearly no wake at all. Of course we spend 100% of our time now, in New Jersey, waiting for the new ski season.
  3. This year we started March 30th when the water temp hit 43. Anything is fair game once the ice is off the river. We'll ski with shortie wetsuits from the end of Sept. through mid October, then switch to long suits through about mid November unless we get really cold snaps. When we had outboard ski boats the season never ended if there was a warm Dec. or Jan day.......but we were 20/30 years younger and could do dock or shallow water starts and hardly get wet and didn't have to winterize the outboard. New Jersey isn't the coldest state, but not the hottest either and ya' gotta ski when you can. Ken W
  4. 350 Mag Fuel Consumption

With the older hull and pulling mainly slalom skiers and an occasional trick run, nearly always 5gph. Slalom at 34 to 36 mph. KenW
  5. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

There are really a lot of great rides pictured here. Here's one of the oldsters of the group, our 1989 Ski Centurion Falcon, we bought it in kit form, completely disassembled, (practically nothing still attached to the bare hull) and really run down, we're still working on it but it's pulling Slalom and Trick skiers for the season. The entire drive train, engine to prop, all included, is new. We intend to finish the decals and interior this winter. Most of you are looking for big wake.....the selling point of this one is very SMALL wake. One before and a couple of after shots. It's great to be here. Ken W.
  6. New Member Intro!

Thanks for the welcome, WakeDoc. Yes, the avatar is the boat. I'll post a couple before and afters when I get a chance. Bought it in pieces, all disassembled. A real do it yourself project.
  7. New Member Intro!

Hello to all, Really glad to see a site for Centurion owners. Proud owners of a 1989 Falcon which we're currently re-furbishing, just finished the drive train and outside work......interior to follow. We have another brand (SN) also but just launched the Centurion and it's a great improvement over the other. Use is primarily for trick, slalom and barefoot, not quite the same as most of you here but I'll try to fit in. Ken
