Wakeboard Preset Details Help for Ri230 2022
Chris Stein posted a topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Just got a new Ri230 and planning on heading out next weekend. Does any one have any details of their settings for an advanced wakeboard rider? -
Try gassing up in Lake Powell for a Week, easily a $500 bill with the toy tank on the house boat and extra gas cans. I cry as the numbers spin.

I never travel with my boards on my racks. At freeway speeds, that is a lot of wind pressure.

Hey, I am around the corner in Orem, I wouldn't mind givin a helping hand if you need one. I have a single center ballast in mine, and am looking to update our system. I figure, good time as any to learn how. PM if you need help.

Who Got Out Last Weekend?
Chris Stein replied to zapisor's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Forgot to install one plug, took on some water, got it installed got out on the water, forgot to tighten up the back belt got it tightend. Got everyone out and had a great evening. The water took your breath away getting in, but adjusted quickly, and all was great. -
What do you keep in your "On Board Boat Spares"
Chris Stein replied to Chris Stein's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I have most of this stuff because lakes can be very big around here. Lake Powell especially. You can be 2 to 4 hour boat trip to the closest marina. Ok. Added to the list. Spare Keys Goggles... Check. Knife..... Check. First Aid... Check. To do list, Prop with puller. Flares. Airhorn. I guess it's the Eagle Scout coming out in me. -
What do you keep in your "On Board Boat Spares"

After a couple of summer outings that were cut short, I am rethinking my spare parts that I am going to keep on board. I was looking for some other ideas to fill in the blanks of what I am missing. Here is what I currently have. Water Fuel Seperator, with filter wrench Oil Replacement Motor Plug ( I had one mysteriously come off today) Impeller Simple socket set with metric and standard Flat Head Screw Driver Phillips Screw Driver Wire strippers Crescent Wrench Any other ideas? -
Unfortunately spending too much money on gas, and waiting to do repairs in the winter. I will update when I have m solution.

LETS SEE YOUR RIDES
Chris Stein replied to Drew Danielo's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Nice rides everyone. Here is ours, my daughter loves Harry Potter, and came up with "Sirius Black" for the name. -
I put mine up as far as it will go, filled 2 sacs in front, and 2 sacs in back, plus the standard center ballast. I did not seem to make a very noticable difference in the wake size. It did seem to make planning a little slower getting to wakeboard speed. Off to Vegas for the weekend, but will try the same set up next week while adjusting the plate back to flat when i get back and compare. We are probably talking about at most 1/2" an inch of play with the plate. I can't see that the less than 1 square foot would make a huge difference compared to the displacement of the boat and the hull design. My $.02.

Good battery..... Still not fixed the problem. I will have to look into the isolator. Will keep you guys posted.

Replacement bungie cords for Surf Boards
Chris Stein replied to Chris Stein's topic in Watersports & Related Gear
thanks. You guys rock! -
The bungie cord fit our wake boards, but they will not fit around a surf board. The dealer said check Home Depot, but no luck. Anyone have any idea where to purchase these?
-
Well the battery died yesterday on the lake. I went to the dealer today and it ended up being a dead alternator. So, maybe that might fix it. I will post tomorrow after our next outing.

note to self.... Adjust wake plate higher when I get home
