  1. That's a great boat probably the most sold boat by Centurion back in the day as both the Falcon and then the Sport. Just go over the basics: check engine oil, replace the impeller if it hasn't been changed, fuel/water filter etc. Have fun!
  2. Lift Capacity for Elite

Yes you are right on. For those era Direct Drive boats (Falcons, Sports, Eclipse and Elites) 3600 - 4000lb lifts were the popular choice. You should be fine, just keep an eye on the cables.
  3. HiFlyer, I had a similar problem in my 2000 Eclipse with 'the Scorpion engine. After trying everything possible including gas etc. we decided it was due to heat. Basically after running for a while and then sitting on a hot day the fuel would 'cook' in the fuel rail on the top of the hot engine in a very hot engine box. Added a blower that runs anytime the compartment temp is over 175degrees. The other way is to open your cover and the engine breath and cool down. Good luck RAWSki
  4. Eclipse Before & After

Yep that's a 'wrap', one 21' piece on each side, 2" cut out at the rub rail. It's special 3M vinyl digitally printed and laminated. My GF and I designed it by hand and then had her graphics staff execute it in photoshop. The back is a continuation of the water spray with a little joke added by my girlfriend. We have to re-do the back because of a matching problem at one of the seams, but I'll post a photo soon so you all can get a good laugh. RAW
  5. Thought you 'crew members' would like to see before and after pics of my 2000 Eclipse. I loved the checkboard treatment when I bought it and got a lot of compliments. But I had grown tired of the look but not the boat itself, also the dark navy gelcoat was starting to fade and 'chalk up'. So we decided to change the look! Those that didn't know what I did thought I bought a brand new boat. Let me know what you think. RAWSki
