  1. Hi, Issue is the boat will start once while getting off the trailer and getting out to the middle of the lake. Then it does not start again.. Explaination below on what happens.. I have took over handling the issues from my father in laws boat. It is a 2006 Enzo SV230. Last year I took it out 3 times and everytime the boat would start up just fine. I would get out of the marina and motor around for about 5 min or less. I would turn it off to let my kids jump in. After about 10-20 min of swimming they would want to surf, but I would go to start it and it just cranks over. I took it in and it started right back up. I told them to replaced the fuel pump. This year I took it out and didn't turn it off and it ran just fine for a couple hours as we surfed... I went back to the marina and turned it off and it started back up. I did this a couple of times without turning it off while in the middle of the lake, but after I got back to the marina and the slip. I would turn it off and back on and it would start again, so I thought the issue was fixed. I took it out today and since it was starting after testing it the other times. I turned it off for the kids to swim and then it would not start just crank over. Any ideas on what is happening? It has a MerCruiser Black Scorpion MX 6.2L, 340. The issue is when I get it back into the shop for them to look at it. It starts right up.. Seems like this could be a vapor locking issue.. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem if it happens again out on the lake?
