    Centurion Elite V C4
  1. Hi All! Happy to be a new member here. Just bought an old 2008 Elite V C4 Air Warrior from a friend who had let it sit for the last few years and I'm slowly getting it back up to par. I own a small car dealership and have been working on cars for 20 years but this is my first foray into boating. I've done all the typical tune up stuff and got the boat running. I put a cheap Amazon IAC valve on and am having problems getting it to idle - I think I'll need to get the OEM part to fix that issue but thats not the purpose of my post. The boat takes on some water - enough where the bilge comes on every 30 minutes or so. I've found two small leaks from the drain plugs, but they are just dripping so I know thats not the issue. I'm thinking it is the input shaft seal (is that what you call it on these?) where the shaft goes into the boat. I can hear water dripping from underneath the V Drive when its in the water but can't see it. I have the boat on a lift and when it comes out of the water, nothing leaks from the driveshaft area but there is a lot of water coming out of a grate just north of it. I have no idea what this is, what it does or if I should take it off and see whats going on. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've attached a few pictures. Thanks everyone I'm looking forward to learning about these boats and getting out on the water!
