  1. Hi All, When I purchased this boat in the fall the previous owner indicated that the PerfectPass only seems to like sunny days and fades in and out at times. Seems to be a common problem. Anyway, PerfectPass recommended I replace the gauge and upgrade to the GPS star gazer edition kit. Seems like roughly an $800 upgrade. Would you guys recommend this? I'm brand new to these boats. I know it doesn't have a "monster" wave but the previous owner surfed it and I figured it would be a good boat to get my kids into surfing. I'm sure there are ways I can make the wave larger by adding weight. Any thoughts on the gauge or adding weight/upgrades would be appreciated. Thanks!
  2. 2006 Avalanche C4

That's the plan. Just hoping to sell this thing before I have to winterize and store.
  3. 2006 Avalanche C4

Nice work Chris! Decided to sell my 2006 Avy C4.
  4. Yes, that's the ZS232 that I'm looking out now. Late delivery 2022
  5. Hi All, Has anyone compared a ZS232 vs a mojo? pricing seems similar? Thanks! From what I can quickly see, The Supreme weights more and has more ballast.
  6. Appreciate the info. the extra 1000lbs is what I've been reading as well. I haven't been in the moomba, only the ZS, but the 2023 looked nice from the pics.
  7. Factory Build Times

Great thanks. We are at 230' so should be good.
  8. Hey Wylie_Tunes, I put the meter everywhere and on everything I could and was getting 12 volts. When I didnt see the light on the amp ever I just figured that was the problem. The biggest problem is just that I'm not great with wiring like this. I"m sure someone like yourself could figure it out in 2 minutes. The amp shop said they tested all channels but only found one switch was dirty. He claims to have 50 year old Rockford Fosgate techs on his team. I'll keep digging
  9. Hi All, I was fairly confident it was my amp that was the issue causing me to lose any sound from my speakers. I sent it to get it repaired and the guy just called me and said while one of the switches was dirty the amp powered on without an issue. I couldn't see the power light as it had fallen inside the amp. Anyway, the stereo head unit turns on when I flip the stereo switch, the inline fuse appears to not be blown and nothing from a wiring standpoint has changed as far as I know. When I put a meter to everything it seemed like all was good. People have mentioned the ground wire but I really don't know where that is located. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Got it, thanks. Im at sea level so I’d imagine it would be fine. I’d have to see it/ drive it fully loaded to be certain.

Do you think the 409 is too small for the ZS232?
  12. Turns out a prepackaged Smuckers PB&J wrapper got sucked into the intake. I didn’t notice it when I pulled the boat. Thankfully nothing too major. Now I’m just dealing with a shaft seal leak. Always something
  13. Hi All, Need some help here. Was surfing for a maybe 30 minutes and then I got the continuous beep from the engine. I had the bags maybe half full, no way near full. I've never had this issue before. Specs below: 2006 Avy C4, 2 adults/2 kids total, 1000lb bags in rear side lockers (maybe half full at the time), Acme 1579 prop, impeller replaced spring of 2020, quite a bit of exhaust on the starboard side (sideswipe) Does this sound like an impeller, water pump or thermostat problem? I've read many forums where people have this boat much more loaded down then I had or generally have so I cant believe it was overloaded. Thank you!
  14. Hi All, Checked my plug in the back of the boat and in the middle of the boat and all seems good. Any where else I should check for a leak. The second I stand on the platform the bilge kicks on. Thanks in advance!
  15. Thank u! Do you know if the engine needs to be removed in order to work on the shaft seal?

  17. Going to pull it and bring to mechanic today. Such a bummer. Hoping it’s nothing major
  18. Thanks for the reply. I believe it was pushing 225 temp and 60 oil pressure. After I turned it off and let it rest a few and putted the way back home the temp was just about 175 and oil pressure just above 40. It definitely seemed to go into limp mode for a few and after I shut it off, rest, and restart the beep was gone. But I never hammered it after that
  19. Apologies for the many posts. My phones was having connection issues
  20. While I know I just need to bail on the sprinkler valve entitling, does anyone know what part or parts make up the sprinkler valve. I have a small leak in one, probably happened over the winter. For a quick fix I just want to replace it. thank you!
