Here is my first attempt at a wave at full ballasts. I could not get a picture of goofy because I was with my son and he would make turns while adjusting wave. I was surprised how easy and fast it dialed in. The wave looked pretty darn big!!!
Had ramfill 100%, locker bags 100%, and front hard tank 100%, then 550lb of lead.
What I love about boat show season is checking out all of the manufactures latest and greatest ideas and features.....MasterCraft did something cool this year on the new Xstar. They installed rub rail mounted docking lights.....not sure if this is new in the industry, but it is the first time I’ve seen it. I had to have this upgrade so here we go!
That is a regular 6,000 lb hydrohoyst. My FX22 sat lower in the water so could not get boat fully covered. Since the FZi has a higher bow and freeboard, I really did not loose any cover going the the FI. The slip is about 23’, 5” in length.
Did not have a huge choice for the women of the family fell in love with this particular boat and got a great deal. I can see adding the transom bag later if needed. It did arrive to the marina on Thursday. Fits in my slip really well.
gotcha. Here is a video I shot with my drone. I was DRIVING and flying the drone at the same time so excuse the bad footage.(It was tough to do) Only me driving, and my wife and kids in the boat.(My wife is probably 120 and my kids are both less than 50lbs) The wake was pretty clean. board he was riding is 6'1. Plenty of length on the wave.
