4 pointsNew shoes!!! And a level kit and air bags. Would have loved to go with a 4" lift and 35's but that's counter productive for towing. I'm happy with how it turned out. F-150 Ecoboost Stormtrooper edition!

4 pointsI came from a 15 23lsv. While I don't think it's ugly there is not one part of me that has any jealousy over the new lsv compared to my ri237. And I'm the guy who always wants the newest greatest thing out.

4 pointsI crash a lot too, its the only way you get better. Finally rode out my first 360 this weekend and been working on getting airs with clean carves. Wish I had some crash pics to contribute, but most of my surfing is just me and a partner...no one to take pics. Least I am finally getting a good amount of time on water. Probably close to 75hrs so far this year including going on other boats, my boat is over 50 now, tho I know you guys have double that...jealous!

2 pointsFor myself, I would not own a Centurion without CATS. I use mine as much during cruising as I do surfing. The CATS really levels the boat out without moving people around.

2 pointsI keep a boat hook on board, you never know what you'll need it for. Docking, picking stuff out of the water, whacking a misbehaving kid that's in the bow while you're driving...

1 pointYou can call Fineline (or actually your dealer)...for my boat they wanted $600 and 6 weeks lead time. So I ordered HDPE board from Interstate Plastics....made a template using cardboard till perfect and then traced onto the HDPE. Cut it out and then had my local shop install the foam and vinyl that they had. Turned out very nice for $150.

1 pointSeriously how many options is someone really going to strip out of the fi. Even more interesting will be to see how much the dealers will strip them down. I don't see either one happening. Cats and motor upgrades are the only real things I see people not ordering. And I only say cats because most regular buyers don't even know what they are or what they do. I personally find it one of the best options on my boat.

1 pointI have one. We have it ready just incase. You never know what might happen. Sometimes the rear swings out and this has saved us. Or if you have some other idiot that is about to hit you.

1 pointExactly. To me, its the same comparison between the RI and the FI. You'll probably save a few bucks with the 224 over the 226. Although one thing- I can see some people preferring the 224 layout over the 226. That might lead someone who is less focused on wake-making abilities to make the choice based on boat layout/price. At which point the 224 could be a winner.

1 pointI'm crashing a lot learning air 180's. Getting dang close to getting it though yep I've been out probably about 230 hours this year. (Taking turns surfing) still not enough keep pushing, riding out 3's is fun!! Congrats

1 pointhttps://www.malibuboats.com/boat/wakesetter-23-lsv The current king of the 23ft market released their new boat today. Coming from a 2014 Malibu 23 LSV, I think this boat is ugly. IMO, the entire Centurion brand looks better than this boat. It'll be interesting to see what next year's Fi market share is.

1 pointThe new steering wheel looks better in person for sure - I wasn't crazy about it in photos but it is really nice when you see it, especially because it fits really well with the rest of the boat and the new interior. The paddle shifters are really a big improvement over the earlier controls and and much nicer both in looks and feel.

1 pointI'm sure it could be a bit better if you dial it in right - that was actually the first time we ever looked at the ski wake on a Ri257 - not too shabby. I have a Carbon Pro so I won't be skiing behind any of the new surf boats anytime soon...

1 pointWell due to my lack of being able to make up my mind on the artwork, colors, etc. for my board and being busy beyond normal this project fell behind. It is now back on track and moving forward very quickly. Below is a teaser Mike Walker posted on Facebook of my board. More to come next week.
