So I was out this weekend a couple things I learned and some I re-learned....
1) Water depth is key to a nice wake. We were dialing in the wake and it just kept flattening out on me, then I realized I was in only 10 feet of water. Moved to a different part of the delta where we were at 20-30 feet and the wake was awesome. I knew that already, but never realized how dramatic a difference it actually makes.
2) Ran into Sean Cummings out near Discovery Bay and his 237. He is running an extra 1250 of lead underneath the rear seats and the PNP's. Im only running 500 lbs extra. So I have an extra 1000 lbs on order + the bigger factory PNP's coming this week.
3) Make sure to get all the air out of the PNP's. I realized I had a lot of air in the bags so they were not getting as full as they could be
So my new plan is to place 500 lbs each under each of the rear seats and 250 lbs each under each of the PNP's in the rear. Slightly list the RamFill to the surf side 100 / 95 or 95 / 100 and full center tank. Speed 11.5, CATS -20, Stinger 60, Surf Tab 65-75
Ill see how it works out once I get the new lead in.....
Not sure if it will work, but here is a link to video taken yesterday surfing with my friends kid on my shoulders. The wake settings here were Center Full, RAM 100 / 95, CATS -15, 11.5mph, stinger 60, surf tab 75. Water was 67 degrees air temp 76. About 20 feet deep.
