If you're a supreme owner with quicksurf, make sure to adjust the mount hole position of the QS tab and the actuator. In order to do this, you'll need two wrenches and be careful not to lose the plastic spacers. To get the best surf wave on both sides, you want the lenco actuator mounted to the furthest from the hull hole on the QS tab. Do this for both tabs. This allows the hull to sit lower in the water on the surf side and allow for less of a list in order to get a great wave. On the regular side, it allowed for a much cleaner wave without using as much stinger tab and on the goofy side it created a much steeper and taller wave.

The weather has been terrible lately in Mn, combined w work I haven't been out much. Did get a chance to play around with the swell once. One thing we did try was surfing shallower water. Normally I like 15' or deeper water because when I hit 12' or less I can see the wave gets noticeably smaller. We surfed 10-12' and I didn't notice much of a difference in the wave size. Guessin it's because of the side push of the swell and the lateral displacement instead of relying on the deep V vertical displacement? I do like that because the bay we park in up north isn't very deep so we normally drive across the lake to surf. As far as push, it had enough push to surf myself (6'2" 220lbs and my buddy, 6'2" 250lbs). Lol

The Piper racks are not cheap when all said and done, but they are one of the best purchases I've made for my boat.
