Trying to add these pics! Sorry everyone... I tried embedding the images from my Google Photos album, as they're linked and high-res. Oh well. Guess I'll do one at a time. Here's the platform after I put on the GatorStep.

I always recommend buying a board you can grow into instead of buying a board you will grow out of its cheaper in the long run . We have taught lots of people how to ride and all of them have learned to ride on one of my soulcraft boards. When learning how to ride think of the board as a teeter totter. You want to try to find neutral. To much weight on the back foot and you will blow out the back of the wake because that is the breaks. To much weight on the front foot and you will charge at the boat because that is the gas. One pointer that always helps is look at the back corner of the boat on the side you are surfing. Don't throw the rope tell you can go for some ways with it slack. When you are ready to toss it just throw it to the opposite side of the wake. When learning if you try to throw it in the boat it forces you to look up which shifts your weight to the back foot putting on the breaks and more often than not falling out of the back of the wake

My experience is that these boats are quite finicky but once you have them dialed in, it is sweet. Trust me, it took me half the summer last year to figure out. I wish I could off you some advice Mfaso with you quest but it sounds like the 238 is a different beast. My optimal settings on my 226 are as follows. Surfside PNP full. I installed the 1100's. Both quick fills and center tank full. Trim set at 20-30%. I will drain opposite quick fill at surf speed (10.8-11.2) until desired shape and then close the tank. Wave has decent height with plenty of length and tons of push. Also, I'll put an additional 400 pounds on the surfside and use the surf system to shape. Doesn't take much to shape. Good luck man!!

If the boat was not factory ordered with the bow sac plug n play option you will not have anything. No pump, no lines, no bags.

I'd REALLY appreciate that. I got camping with my kid this weekend and softball/tball games like crazy next week after work so I'm probably not going to make it back until memorial day weekend. Thank you!

Sounds like you had to much trim. When I say 15 to 20% that is just slightly down from all the way up. You need more weight you should be getting something like this

Holy downsize.. I really have to reduce the size of my pics! Here's the platform after I pulled my boat out of the lake.

Wrap goes to the bottom edge of the side where it turns to the bottom of the boat. You can see the end of the wrap in the pictures since the boat is loaded to sure on the port side. Price depends on installer and artwork/graphic. Boat look like brand new, as long as say a handle bar did not gouge the side of the boat.

The wrap on this boat is 7 years old the color/image has not changed since it was installed. This is our second wrapped boat and with the limestone/hard water stains in our area I will never own a boat without one in the future. Makes cleaning the boat a breeze, no need to wax, just mist with 50/50 vinegar and water then wipe dry. If you want that slick just waxed look hit it with a mist of MeGuiar's Quick Detail. Overall this wrap has held up great the only real issues/scares on the wrap were caused (1) in the picture, rolled forward in the garage and stopped on a dirt bike handle bar. (2) just recently we have been keeping it on a lift with straps and they have chaffed the wrap a little on the edges, will clean it up once we get it on a cradle. Let me know if you have any other questions. See other comments below.
