Stereo Progress - Got the RGB rings installed and the Reve10's wired up and mounted.

Used WS swivel mounts and I'm glad I went with only 1 pair because another set will not fit on the lower mounts on the S4 tower. Maybe if utilizing fixed mounts but it will be extremely close if it works??

ok how did you get the rgb wire in the tower?? Did you use the factory wire as a fish and pull new wires?? One mount is on the front tube and one is on the rear tube but both exit on the front tube on the passenger side. My assumption is the wire makes a hard turn inside the tower because I cant get my fish through. Edited by h20king

Some human ingenuity...LOL

I used a piece of plastic tied to fishing line and then used vacuum to suck it through. Couldn't figure any other way to make those tight bends.

I even took a picture in case somebody asked.

Seriously, this is the smartest thing I've ever seen on here and maybe even the Internet. Well done!

You all give him too much credit. I have a feeling that tip came from his previous boat life! Lol

Finally got my sub enclosure facade done so thought I'd update my thread with that and other items marked off the list this winter:

What I started with and end result under helm:

Installed Natuic Logic GPS receiver. Was easy plug and play. Just had to contort myself to get to the connections under the floor located on top of the gas tank.

I positioned the receiver puck up on the dash. Really easy install.

I have a custom sack coming (Thanks NW Boat Sports) and after a few warranty items get knocked out this week I should be set for this season.

Viking, I like it. The sub looks GREAT! I stuck the gps puck outside the window. It probably doesn't make a difference but on my last boat I had it inside the windshield and I noticed occasionally it took a little while longer grab the satellites.

Thanks guys!

Nick that's funny stuff..........and agree!

I was pondering ported but wasn't 100% confident in my enclosure building skills last winter so opted for sealed. After all is said and done I think I could have handled it and would have likely built a full facade for front. But this way it allows me to keep some storage space and full use of the netted pocket. Enjoyed the use and tunes all last season but finally got around to making it look like it came from factory :yes

thought about it but decided to take tru's advise putting together a nice system while also keeping the cost down. It just doesn't make sense to spend that sort of cash on a system just to pass it to the next guy when we get a new boat in two years.

H great job with the shaping of the contours it gave it a clean custom look!

I'm aware, and would do the same. His advice has been spot on for my "needs" as well ;)
