It was a bit of a dud, but the lake has already gone up to 3.5' above Rumsey so that is great news considering this time last year we were well under a foot. Another good rain tomorrow plus the run-off we should be looking pretty good considering . . . . . . time to get back on the West Coast CCC Weekend . . . . .

 

Ya I saw the 3.5 Rumsey but we should be at around 5 for this time of year.....hope it pours tomorrow......fingers crossed!

Its been a month since our last rain. Heard our snow pack is 19% of normal for this time of year.....not much time left....we NEED some rain!!!!

Poi....Clear Lake is in much better shape than last year and will be fine until Sept or so thanks to the epic Dec rain.....I really feel for the farmers in the Valley...their livelyhood is on the line. Hoping a bunch of you will be at the lake in June for the crew meet Hillside is putting together. The lake will be beautiful in June.

Seen this the other day. Very sad considering allot of our fruit and vegetables come from California. What will the future hold. The population in California is more than all of Canada...

Think about how much lack of water there are in third world countries. Feels like eventually we'll be right there with them. And the amount of water we waste everyday... it'll happen sooner than we likely think. Then there's the fracking debate.

Just read that CA snow pack is at 19% of normal for this time of the year........lowest in recorded history.

I have friends looking for low prices Avy's. Cali may be a good place to look if nobody is using theirs again this year!
