To buy or not to buy!?

Looking at buying an used in need of work Centurion Vdrive trailer.

 

Needs to be rebuilt but that doesn't scare me at all.

 

I can pick it up for $1000.

 

Going to be loading my 05' Avy onto it after some extensive work.

 

Roll it is the shop strip it and start building it the way i want it. Frame is solid. Axles are good. WIll do bearings etc no doubt.

 

Do you think its worth the rolling frame?

Seriously though, looks pretty clean. Brakes? If you have to re-do those, then IMHO you should skip it; big PITA.

Is that duct tape I see on the tongue? Seriously, as long as you come out ahead.... down here you can get a very well built trailer around 2,200... And that's new, but not official Centurion.

For your Avy, the whole winch set up would need replaced and lowered, how are the brakes and tongue set up? A grand seems steep to me for what work it looks to need... JMO good luck with the build bro if ya decide to do it...

I was thinking the same thing. You can get a brand new basic trailer in Dallas for just under $2,500.

passed on it, in real it was in way worse shape....needed axles, brakes, fenders, refab the tongue, actuator.....just not good and no he wouldn't move on the price, so i let it go

I think it was in your best interest.... Keep your eye out, you'll find one...
