Moved into my new home about a month ago and built a detached garage for my baby so she now has her own home. Most exciting part....I no longer have to fold the tower! Stays much cleaner now too being fully enclosed since before the front and back has ghetto tarps to keep out the rain, but did not keep out dust, etc.

32ft long X 16ft wide detached (also made entire roof truss system into a 12ft wide X 32ft long storage area). 14ft high ceilings with 12x12 garage door and at last minute, I decided to insulate, finish with drywall/paint....and installed a wall unit that has Heat & A/C. Got this picture yesterday when I came back from surfing.

Bought a new Ram 1500 about 2 weeks ago too with 3.92 gears, 5.7 Hemi and the tow package, rated for 11,340lbs towing and 1840 payload (total 17,000 GVWR....so realistically 9k is the most you can "legally tow". Handles my SV244 with easy and is much better feeling than the Chevy I have been using for the last 2 years. Even tho the tow ratings are similar on both trucks, the Ram is more powerful and just handles better and brakes are WAY better when backing down a steeper ramp.

No one bought a boat in 19 so far?  Hoping to bring one home very soon. Seems concerning though that there hasn’t been anything yet this year.

2020 Ri257 (w/LSX). Canadian Blue Sparkle and White. Interior is standard white, hex black, hex deep bronze.

I'm not swooned by the bombshell racks, so I have a set of PTM Edge wide-mouth clamp racks I'm trying to figure out how to get the right brackets to get mounted.

Sorry for the kids tubing pic, its' one of the few I have with the interior. Our adults crew is 95% wakesurf.. and we hope to get the kids into it too. (my kids are only 6 and 8 y/o)

What a nice looking vessel. The colors are sharp. I think every ski/ wakeboard/ surf boat has pulled or will pull a tube. Its not to exciting watching the little kids but when you whip around your friends everyones face starts grinning.

Hey guys, first post, but I've already gotten a ton of info off this forum.  Pretty much the reason I searched specifically for a Avalanche.

Got this 2006 a couple months ago from a dealer in Canada.  Was a bit of a risk, had to purchase before ever seeing it in person because the border is closed.  Overall have found a few small surprises, but nothing to big.  Its a well taken care of boat.  I searched for about 4-5 months and think it was the best choice with what is on the market.  Its the same boat as page 13 of this thread.

An Infinity surf system is sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.

A FAE system is sitting in the garage waiting to be installed to eliminate the sideswipe.

Will be placing a Gatorstep order soon.

Will be ordering a new prop, it currently has the 817 Acme on it.

Got the following maintenance completed and took it for its first drive Saturday to learn the boat.  Its our first inboard, so a bit of a learning curve coming from I/O.

Changed V Drive fluid

Changed Transmission fluid, couldn't get it all out, so just added back in what I took out.

Replaced both fuel filters

Put in new impeller

Greased V Drive shaft

Greased rudder

All new blue plugs

I was unable to change the oil.  The tube I have for the extractor pump is super small but wont get all the way down the dip stick, it hangs up on something, even the dipstick itself doesn't go in easily.  The top of the dipstick has some sort of fitting on it.  Please see picture.  What do I need to accomplish this?

Heres a few pics

Sad this forum is not as busy as it used to be since so many jumped to the Facebook groups .. the FB groups are not nearly as easy to search, and the threads do not get organized well ...
