That was a lot of investigation there Surfdad... Skier, it seems to me that you and Les have a close connection, which is good. I guess my take on the new Wave is that I do not see a lot of them being sold in my area. Malibu and Mastercraft seem to have a strong hold on Raleigh-Durham area. Plus I just heard that Malibu and Axis (?) are coming out with "another" budget friendly boat. I thought the V & I - Ride was therre budget boat until I heard that they arenow going for the low to mid 50's.

The point I am trying to make here is that Centurion has always held there own and had to work had to get up with the other so called big 3. They did not, until now, put out any kind of "budget boat" to get people into the sport. Centurion has always kept there prices down while keeping there quality and cutting edge up. They have gone from being the under dog to top dog in the water sport community, especially wake surfing. In my honest opinion, I hope Centurion does not come out with a budget boat. That will mean cutting corners and etc. If the wave is there "budget boat" then so be it. At least they are not using and older Avalanche or Enzo hull to tap into that market. I have a few friends that are wanting to switch over to Centurion now, only because they can see quality and value in a boat that does not cost them and arm and a leg. At the same time the hulls/boats they have now arre considered the "budget hull" boat series. So now there value has dropped! Plus every where I go with my scoot, I always get compliments, even from the M&M (Mastercraft & Malibu) boaters.

If I see a Wave out on the lake near me, I will take some pics and post them, plus try to get a ride on it to see how it performs.

A couple of months ago I saw mid 90's Wave on I-540 close to Town Center Mall. I have no idea who owns it or where he was going but I did see it being towed. So somewhere around here there is a White and Teal Wave.

I met him at the factory once and I give him a call or email him to find every once and a while to check things out that I see on here and on Wake World.

It is good to know somebody sometimes.

By the way did you ever make it over for a tour of the factory?

Not yet. I was scheduled for surgery on Nov 10 and when they went in with the first scope to see where they were going to cut, they saw that the tumor was larger than they expected and if they did remove it in its current size, I would have a perm limp. Plus they would need to get donor veins instead of my own because they would have to replace so much in there. So now they are resorting to a new procedure that I have to go to Duke for where they are going to inject Methonoyl (?), the stuff you find in vodka, into the tumor to try and reduce the size. My first dose is tomorrow at 1:00. I want to try and get there before the year end, so that I can see if they have any left overs from 08 that I might can get cheap. I want a couple of new post guides that read Centurion instead of Choplin. Plus a couple of other things. Where are you located at here in NC again?

I love my Centurion Wave! Good surf, Built-in ice chest and I can put my standup jet ski on the back deck. Not to mention we love hanging out back there.

The wave on that thing looks pretty good! Do you have any videos of it without a rider in it?

It's legit though and I'm pretty sure you are the 1 and only on this site. Congrats.

I have one too. In fact, I tried to buy the one above that Stoked posted for sale a while back, but he stopped returning my calls and emails and now is evidently not selling it. I ended up finding one much cheaper with half the hours and unbelievable shape.

I love the boat. I run one 1000LB sac on the back when surfing and usually the wave is actually better when it is only about 80% full. I bought it for the same reason, to haul my stand-up jetski but the thing ended up surfing way better than I ever anticipated. I have been on soooo many wake boats and honestly it is hilarious to hear all you guys chatter about how it couldn't be any good for surfing. Most of the newer boats are all so much bigger. That doesn't mean they make bigger waves. It means you have to put a TON of weight in them to get them to sink down. This surf wave is very tall and long. I will post pictures soon.
